I hated that I had to take Scarlett back to the underworld. I knew we had too, but with what Birsha and I discovered about Seth, we hated that we had to take her back before she was mated to us. At least after what we did in the cave, she would have our scent all over her. When I teleported us back, Scarlett took a deep breath in and let it out. I could feel her emotions. She was nervous, angry, but happy all at once. Birsha stroked her cheek, “You know we can feel your emotions. Talk to us, maybe we can help you.”
