But Jules wasn’t planning on sticking around to see what the bots were going to do. “They shouldn’t be doing that,” Tee said behind him. “Maybe, but they are,” he said. “Get into the lift.” “They won’t harm us. They have safety protocols to enforce it.” Out on the attic floor the bots crawled smoothly forward on their legs. It wasn’t the most graceful motion. They jerked back and forth as each leg snapped out. Their UV lights kept sweeping across the passage as they crawled quickly forward.
