Chapter 17Jules settled on the edge of the bunk in his cabin and took several deep breaths to center himself. Weariness tugged at him like fingers trying to pull him back into the bunk. It’d been a long time since he’d had anyone trying to coax him back to bed. As challenging as it was living in the uncanny valley, he knew that wasn’t the real reason.
