A few days after I returned, the farm office looked better. I replaced most of the furniture since they were quite dated. I made the changes after office hours so as not to disturb Naomi and Merida.
Aside from getting new office furniture, I hired the daughter of one of the farm workers to help Merida out with the filing of the documents. By the end of the week, there are no papers on any of the tables anymore. I helped them out with the filing system and implored them to follow it moving forward.
Everything was ready for when the auditors arrived next week. They came a few days ago, and we had a meeting to discuss what kind of work we are expecting from them. The meeting went smoothly, and they said that the audit should be completed in two weeks.
