THE drive towards the mansion seemed longer than it was, and as soon as Brian parked the car, I got out right away. Marla opened the door right away, and it looked like she had been crying. We headed to Leon’s room right away, and when I saw his body, I immediately knew that we were too late.
Tobey walked towards his body and felt his wrist and neck. He took out his stethoscope and listened to his heart. After a few minutes, Tobey looked at me and shook his head.
Kara: “What are you doing? Why aren’t you doing chest compressions?”
Tobey: “It’s too late, Kara. Even so, he’s DNR, so we can’t do anything.”
