I had to go to calm myself down before I made my way back to my grandfather’s room. Being that close to Kara has affected me tremendously. I can see that she’s affected too, which pleases me.
I got furious when I saw that man put his hand on my mate. She’s mine and he doesn’t have any right to do that. When I saw her in the kitchen, I wanted to take her right there and then. Thankfully, I stopped myself from doing so. I wanted to feel her body on mine, though, so I stood as close as I could to her. When she closed her eyes, it took all the willpower in my body to stop myself from ravishing her.
