I haven’t stopped crying since I came into my room after lunch earlier. Jared and I have never fought before. We’ve never even had a disagreement before.
When Jared told me before that Kara is his mate, I did not want to believe it. When Kara mentioned it herself, it was like a blow to my heart.
At the time that Jared told me that Kara was her mate, I did not ask him what happened between them. I just assumed that they had severed the mate bond because he asked me to marry him, and he hasn’t broken up with me even after he’s reconnected with Kara.
Kara has also started a relationship with Devin. They spent so much time together while he was still in Catalina, and I’m pretty sure they have slept together. I figured she wouldn’t do that if her mate bond with Jared had not
