WHEN Aliyah arrived at my room, I was in front of my computer. I was actually stalking Kara, but I still couldn’t find her on social media. Carmela has not posted anything new on her social media accounts either. I closed the laptop and looked at Aliyah when she arrived. I smiled and said, “Hi, Aliyah.”
Aliyah: “H-hello, sir. Miss Anita said you wanted me to clean something in your room. What is it?”
Jared: “My room’s pretty clean, thanks to you.”
Aliyah: “O-oh. What do you need from me, sir?”
Jared: “I just wanted to chat.”
Aliyah: “C-chat, sir? About what?”
Jared: “Why don’t you take a seat. You’ve been standing while working in the kitchen. You must be tired.”
Aliyah: “I-I’m fine, sir. I’ll just stand.”
Jared: “Okay. Just know that you could sit if you get tired
