WE left the palace at midnight. I had no idea where we were going, but I realized that part of Adolphus’ M.O. is attacking the pack when they least expected it. The packhouse we were about to raid can’t be that far since we’re traveling by land.
After about two hours, we’ve arrived at our destination. This pack is definitely smaller than the Night Walker pack. They are located inside the forest, and I could only see a few houses and lights on.
I was riding the truck with Adolphus, and he gave the command to send a few scouts in to do quick surveillance. When they came back, Adolphus lost it and cursed non-stop. I didn’t hear what the scout said but based on Adolphus’ reaction. It appears that the raid is not pushing through. I was relieved but didn’t voice it out.
