KARA was quiet as we drove to the farm office. I was scared to ask her what was on her mind because I might not like what I would hear. She might even ask me questions that I might not be able to answer.
When we got to the farm office, Kara sat on her desk and started working dutifully. She only greeted Naomi and was quiet afterward. I sat at the chair in front of her desk and watched her for a bit before saying goodbye and heading to the mansion.
I saw my grandpa in the garage when I parked my truck. He seems to be looking at something. I walked towards him once I got off the truck and said, “Hey grandpa, what’s up?”
Leon: “Why is this car here? Isn’t Kara driving it anymore?”
Jared: “The tires exploded, and we had it repaired.”
Leon: “It looks fine now.”
