WHEN I woke up the next day, I took a shower and got ready for school right away. I went straight to my truck and didn’t eat breakfast anymore. I didn’t hear the wolves howling last night, so it must be a good sign. I drove straight to Kara’s house and sent her a message as soon as I was parked close to their home.
Kara asked me to come inside to have breakfast since it was still early. I was a little hesitant because his dad scared me a bit. I understand why he doesn’t seem to trust me. I am the boyfriend of his only daughter.
