I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. It was like my eyes were deceiving me. Did Jared just turn into a wolf? How is that possible? When I heard the wolf growl, I couldn’t help but scream, and my flight reflex activated. I ran as fast as I could. I fell down twice but didn’t care and got up right away. I didn’t even look back.
I got into the car after getting out of the woods and drove away as fast as I could. I decided to drive to Carmela’s instead of going home. Thankfully, she’s still awake. As soon as she opened the door, I pushed her inside her house and locked the door right away. She looked so confused and said, “Hey, are you okay?”
Kara: “Uhm, y-yes, n-no. I don’t know.”
Carmela: “You’re shaking. What happened?”
Kara: “I-I don’t know. I can’t explain it.”
