❤ Kara’s POV ❤
AS we pulled into the mansion’s driveway, I was getting more and more anxious. I am worried about Leon, but at the same time, memories of Jared have started to come back. Brian must have noticed how tense I am and asked, “Are you okay?”
Kara: “Uhm, yes and no. But we’re here, so let’s go.”
Brian: “Okay.”
I let out a few deep breaths before getting out of the car. I’m always calm whenever I operate and even when I’m holding a human heart in my hands, but right now, I can’t explain how I’m feeling. I’m panicking a bit and thinking of running back to the car, but I have to be brave. I want to see Leon and see how he’s doing.
I rang the bell, and it was opened by a skinny young woman who asked, “How can I help you?”
Kara: “I’m here to see Leon. My name is Kara Dela Vega.”
