"W--wait what? I don't mean to question your sexuality but are you like... a lesbian?" I laughed I thought she was joking but she was looking at me with dead serious eyes. "Are you kidding me? I'm 100% straight! I know you might think I'm weird for hating boys but its just my thing, I don't want any distractions besides I'm here to study and not meet some guy"  Jena took my hand and looked at me with pity. "So you've been hurt before huh? Now I understand, I mean I was in this same position when my first boyfriend broke up with me, man was I devastated..." I had to cut her off "Wait no, I wasn't dumped and I didn't got my heartbroken, it's just how it is in my family, we don't entertain men, some people might not understand it and find it weird but that's just how we are" She smiled at me slyly, I was thinking maybe she now finds me pretty weird after the things I've said, well the people in our neighborhood does, they think we're an odd family for not having a man in the house. "Do you like live in an amazonian island full of women and possesses some out of this world powers like wonder woman? I mean having a superhero friend is like awesome!!" She was giggling like a little kid. I laughed, I was relieved that she still wants to be friends with me. I felt really comfortable talking to her, she said she has never met anyone as odd as me, and I think I should take that as a compliment? Back at our dorms we still talked about so many things until we both fell asleep. Next day... Jena begged me to join the club she was in, I kinda felt bad turning her down but it's just that music and drama are both not my thing. I joined the book club and saw only 3 people including me were the only new ones who signed up for it, down at the bottom of the page says there's a meeting at 6:00 pm today at the Library, my class ends at 5 so I guess I'll be there a bit early. After my class I went straight to the library, it was on the second floor right at the end of the hall, the library was pretty huge, the marble floor was etched with the universities initial "MU", I've never seen so many shelves of books, at the center is where the row of long tables and chairs are neatly aligned, there were still a bunch of studies silently reading, at the back end of the library is a door with a sign that reads book club, I went in and there were just 2 students inside, a woman with red curly hair, wearing a blue sweater greeted me. "Hi, you're here for the book club?" I nodded "What's yer name?" "Roxanne Matheson" She scanned through the paper she was holding which seemed to be a list. "Ahh..here it is Roxanne, welcome to the Montgomery book club nice to have you aboard" She smiled and shook my hand. The meeting went on about an hour and a half, it was already 8, the new members were asked to stay and clean up, it was a welcoming initiation rite of some sort, we have to put back the books that was used on the proper shelves, then lock up afterwards. It took us an hour to finish up, the two students went ahead of me and I was left to lock up, I walked through the slightly dimmed hallway and thought how different the school was at night, it was so peacefully quiet, I passed through an enclosed glass, inside was a photo of a beautiful woman, she had this short blonde hair and beautiful deep blue eyes, "in memory of Helena Martine Montgomery" hmmm...I wondered how she died, next to the photo were some of her achievements, recognitions and the charities she took part in, I scanned through some of the photos when suddenly I heard a rustling sound underneath the glass exhibit, "what was that?" "uhhhh" I heard a soft moan coming from underneath, I was so afraid to look, I backed away slowly when suddenly someone grabbed my left foot, I shrieked in terror!
