Chapter Four

First day of school felt like I was in a jungle, the hallways was so crowded, there were students hurrying to get to their class and some were just chit chatting, boys were everywhere that it kinda made me feel uncomfortable, I avoided eye contact as much as possible, so this is what's like being in a big school I wonder, I've spent my high school in an all girls academy, it was a small school and there were like just 12 of us in each class so yeah it felt wayyyy different as I've expected. I guess it will take some time getting used to this. 7:00 am First class English 101 "Hey roomie" It was Jena, she looked different with some make-up on, she wore a red blouse and skinny jeans paired with white sneakers, her long brown hair was down. 'Hi Jena, I didn't know we have the same first period, when I left you were still sound asleep" she placed her bag on the table and sat next to me. "Yeah, you kinda left a bit early you know, well I'm glad I know someone from this class (I heard this one's kinda boring)" she whispered It was past 4:00 pm and school was finally finished, I packed my books and headed outside. "Hey roomie, wanna grab something to eat?" I was so relieved that Jena and I were in all the same classes together, I wouldn't mind having a new friend on my first day, it made me feel not alone in such a big school. "Sure, where to?" I smiled. She grabbed my arm and led the way. "So have you thought of which club to join yet?" Jena munched on her tuna sandwich, we were at the school's cafeteria which was as big as our mall in my small town, there were so many food stalls to choose from and the food was delicious too. "I was thinking of like a book club" Jena's eyes narrowed "What?? Like literature and stuff? I nodded "No way that's too boring, how about you and I join a drama club or something that requires adrenaline, like the sprint club or women's soccer team? Whaddaya say? Jena was so hyped she was talking non stop, she actually wants us to do things together and it was really nice of her, I just met her yesterday and yet she felt like a sister to me, I have a best friend back in my hometown and she was also like a sister to me, we grew up together and I'm really missing her so bad, I'm lucky to have met Jena and that were roommates. "Well, I'm really not into sports and you know I'm not the sociable type too, so....I have to refuse", sorry"  I kinda felt bad turning down Jena's offer, but I have to be honest with her, sports was really not my thing. "You know what I feel like I'm talking to an old woman, lighten up you sound like my aunt ha-ha, by the way are you dating anyone?" she stared at me curiously. "Dating? Like a boyfriend?" "Duh!! yeah!" "No! Yuck!" I looked away and took a sip of my lemonade I was waiting for her to say something but she was quiet, I looked at her and she was still staring at me curiously. "What?" "You're saying you haven't been with a guy before?!!" "Yeah, and you say it like its a bad thing" "Shut up! Seriously? I mean you're very pretty, you know and I'm not saying that like in a lesbian way but minus that checkered blouse your wearing ugh, I say your pretty hot, and you haven't been with a boy before? Gosh! What's wrong with you?" I thought she wouldn't stop talking, she was still looking at me with disbelief. "I...just don't like boys" Jena's jaw dropped
