"Sequel to Crank Me Up

Xavier McDay and Marius Rabineaux have been together for a year now. Life has been good to both men, and though at first glance it may seem that they’re too different to make things work, the computer geek and the appliance store worker actually make quite the hot pair. Sherie and Tonya, Marius' daughter and Xavier’s niece, are definitely rooting for the men, and they both hope for wedding bells in the future so they can all be a family.

After a minor misunderstanding, Marius proposes to his “Uncle Cranky” and Xavier accepts. But the stress has only just begun, with finding a house for four, planning a wedding and surviving the honeymoon. That’s a lot to handle for two men who just want to love each other, take care of their kids, and live their lives in peace. But they’ll do anything to get the happiness they deserve."

Chapter 1
Crank Me Down By J.D. Walker “Isn’t it time for Uncle Marius to come home, Uncle Mac?” my niece Tonya asked. Marius Rabineaux was my boyfriend of one year. I glanced at the clock on the kitchen wall. “Just about.” It was almost eight o’clock in the evening. Tonya started whispering and giggling with her best friend Sherie, Marius’s daughter. From where I sat at the table near the fridge, I looked over the top of my laptop at my niece, who was supposed to be working on her English assignment, and her partner in crime, who should be tackling a math problem. “Does your conversation have anything to do with your homework?” I asked them, one eyebrow raised. “No, Uncle Mac,” replied Sherie, a cheeky smile on her face. “But Daddy said he found some old Silver Surfer comics in Gramma Jo’s attic, and he’s gonna show them to us tonight.” I did an internal eye roll. Both girls were comic book geeks. Marius and I had taken them to Comic Con last year, and they’d loved it. I had yet to recover from all that spandex, though I’d enjoyed meeting Michael Dorn from Star Trek, who’d played the Klingon character Worf on the show. He reminded me a little bit of my lover, with soulful brown eyes, a fit, built body, and just luscious as hell. Marius had been promoted to the head of his department last month, and so his hours had become longer on the job. He traveled by train to work, mostly, though I gave him a ride on occasion, when he’d let me. Independent to a fault, that was my lover. But a man had to have his pride. I hadn’t spent much quality time with him lately, though I was at least able to kiss his sexy, full lips in the morning before he left for work, and in the evening when he picked up Sherie to take her home to their apartment across the hall. We hadn’t slept in the same bed in weeks, even on the weekends. I didn’t mind. Well, I did, a little bit, but I understood. I knew he was trying to get things to a point where he could manage it all, and he had a great work ethic, one of the things I admired about him. Marie—Gramma Jo—and I worked out a schedule between us as to who would pick up Sherie from school so that Marius would have one less thing to worry about. “Tonya, can you put that plate of food we saved for Uncle Marius in the microwave please? Seven minutes should do it.” “Okay.” While the food heated up, Sherie and Tonya finished their homework and then I heard keys at the door. Marius had arrived. Both girls rushed forward, amicably jostling each other to be the first to greet him. Marius opened the door and Sherie pounced on her dad, hugging him tight, telling him she’d missed him. “Missed you, too, baby girl,” he replied with a tired smile, and gently returned her hug. Tonya embraced him as well, and then both girls stepped back to let him inside. “Hey, babe,” I offered and gave him a quick kiss. He looked exhausted, his dark skin drawn. “Give me your backpack and you go wash up at the sink. Food’s ready.” “Thanks, love.” He caressed my cheek briefly before heading into the kitchen. I carried his bag to the couch and placed it against the armrest. When I got back to the kitchen, Tonya and Sherie had set the table, and now they were fussing over Marius, arguing over who would pour his ginger ale into the glass. “Okay, girls, enough,” I said. “Put away your homework and go hang out for a bit while I talk to Marius.” “But we want to talk about the comic—” Sherie shut up quick when she saw my glare. “Okay, okay. But we’ll be back soon, right?” Never one to quit, that girl. Thankfully, she listened to me when I asked her to do something, for the most part. Sherie was the kind of child who, if she didn’t like you, you’d be in for a world of hurt. “We’ll come find you, all right? Promise,” I assured her. Satisfied, Sherie kissed her dad on the cheek, then dragged Tonya to the bedroom to do whatever ten-year-old girls did when they were in cahoots together. Maybe it was better if I didn’t know. “She’s gonna be a handful as a teenager, you know that?” I commented as I sat at the table next to my lover and watched him eat. He nodded and finished chewing. “That I do. She’s almost too much already, but she’s a good kid, you know? Super smart.” He drank some of his ginger ale, then wiped his mouth with a napkin. “I wouldn’t have her be any other way. You’re good with her, too.” “I’m just glad she likes me enough to give me the time of day,” I replied, chuckling. Leaning forward, I said, “You look beat, Mary,” using the special nickname I had for him when we were alone together. “I am, Mac. It was a long day, and I had a difficult customer. It’s good to be home, though.” He forked some more food into his mouth. “How was your day, love?” “Fine. Got some tricky coding done. Should be ready for the customer in a couple of days. He’s been a b***h to work with. Attitude for miles, you know?” “Yeah, I do.” We shared chitchat for the rest of the meal while Marius decompressed from his day. “What do you want to do this weekend?” I asked when his plate was clean. We’d spent time together as a family, all five of us, including Marie, recently, but I wanted time with him, one-on-one. And soon. Marius burped as he set his empty glass on the table. “What do you have in mind, love? We could take the kids to the park. Momma said she was free this weekend, so we could do a picnic.” Marie worked part-time as a nurse. “That’s fine,” I replied, “but I’d like some alone time with you, too.” I didn’t want to sound desperate, but I missed Marius in my bed. And he needed some lovin’, too. Immediately, he looked contrite. “Oh, sweetie, I’m sorry it’s been so crazy lately, and with me being exhausted on the weekends…I’ve missed you, beyond belief.” He picked up my hand and kissed the fingertips. “Don’t be sorry. Life happens, right? But you need to unwind, and we should spend some quality time together, soon.” “Are we okay?” he asked, concerned. “Of course, we are! Nothing’s wrong, love. I just, you know…” My voice faded away as I squirmed in my seat, trying to think of how to say I was horny without coming across as a slut. A slow smile spread across his face. “Oh, I see. You want some”—he paused, looking over my shoulder into the other room to make sure no tween ears were nearby, then refocused on me—”f*****g, is that it?” I felt my face heat, and I swallowed. “You have to ask?” The look he gave me had my d**k hard in seconds. “Stop it. I can’t face the girls with my pants tented.” “Okay, but we’re not done with this conversation, not yet.” He got up and placed his plate and utensils in the sink. I stood and took his glass, placing it inside the dishwasher. Before I knew it, Marius had me pressed up against the machine, his crotch grinding into mine. “The girls…” I started to say, but Marius cut me off mid-sentence and kissed me with a controlled passion that wasn’t helping my hard d**k go down, not one iota. Just as I was getting lost in his taste, he backed away. “Stay right there. Let me go visit with the girls for a bit, give them the Silver Surfer comics, then you and I will go over to my place for a quickie.” “Can we leave them here alone? They’re only ten years—” “I trust them, and I know you do, too. Nothing will happen, sweetie. They’re smart, and we’re right across the hall, okay? They have our cell phone numbers if something urgent comes up, which it won’t.” He caressed my cheek and ran a finger over my lips. I nipped at the tip. “Okay.” I reached out to squeeze his d**k where it bulged slightly under his T-shirt. “Hurry back, Mary.” It took about twenty minutes, but finally, after knowing looks and giggles from Tonya and Sherie, Marius and I were across the hall in his apartment, sharing a shower. “God, I’ve missed this,” Marius whispered as steam rose around us, the water beating down on our skin as we slowly jacked each other off. “I know. It’s been too long,” I added, moaning as his fingers pulled on my d**k just right. I added the twist he loved right under his sensitive c**k head, and Marius groaned, his forehead dropping to mine as we both stared down at our hands as we brought each other to the brink. “s**t,” I whimpered, pumping ejaculate over our hands, followed by his. The creamy white fluid disappeared quickly as the water poured over us, but the sensations remained. It was bliss. “Love you,” Marius murmured, and I froze.
