LOST LOVE

CARING BOY

The eye lock was first broken by Nandini and she on realising their positions tried to stood up but manik was holding her waist tightly that it was very difficult for her to come out of his masculine grip. So to bring him out of his trance she shook him a little and it worked, Manik left Nandini’s waist and both of them stood up.

They were feeling hell uncomfortable. Just then Nandini remembered about Amms and started looking around for her cell phone. 

Nandini: Nandu you are so dead, Amms must be so tensed. Oh god now what do i do?

Manik stood next to Nandini and took out her phone from his pocket and forwarded it towards her 

Manik: looking for something like this?

Nandini: Why do you have my cell phone. Let it be this time Amms is more important 

Manik: You don’t have to be tensed about her anymore since i have send her a message from your cell that you are going to stay at Navya’s place as its too late

nandini: ohh. You did. Thanks 

Manik: Your welcome.

Nandini: ok now i need to go

Nandini moved forward to go 

Manik: umm. Nandini 

Nandini turned : yes?

Manik pointing towards Nandu’s clothes

Manik: You’ll go in this. Not that i woould mind but others mind have a bad idea. You know what i am talking about. You do right?

Reality dawned upon Nandini, she checked her outfit and quickly dashed inside the washroom with her clothes kept on the sofa without meeting Manik’s gaze as she was feeling really very shy 

Manik to himself: silly girl

At SPACE

As usual FAb 5 was sitting on their table while on one of the table Nandini was waiting for Navya.

Manik looked towards Nandini remembering the morning incident especially their eyelock .

An idea popped into manik’s mind and the next thing he remember was that he was standing in front of Nandini’s table with a tray in his hands filled with a burger, french fries and coke

Manik: ehem ehem

Nandini: you need anything? 

Manik: this is for you 

Nandini: but i never ordered it. 

Manik: i know. I thought you might be hungry. 

Nandini: no i am fine. I am not hungry

Manik: ok your wish

With this he went back towards his table but after keeping the tray on Nandini’s table only. Nandini took the tray and went to fab 5 ’s table and kept the tray there. Just then both navya and cabir entered the canteen with a sweet smile placed on their lips. 

They came towards fab 5 table 

Cabir and Navya: hi guys 

Everyone: hi 

Mukti: ohooo 

Aliya: Cabir you never told anything. secretive. 

Dhruv: stop embarressing him. Navya come and sit with us. 

Navya sat beside Cabir

Navya : Nandini come site here.

Nandini looked around and their was just one place left and it was beside manik so she sat there 

Cabir: should i get something. Bt i guess manik you didn’t even wait for me brother.

Manik: now that’s not my fault 

Mukti: But i am still starving here. Food for me.

Cabir: i know your choice guys. Ummm Navya what will you eat

Navya: I’ll just have coffee.

Cabir: fine. I’ll just be back

Cabir went and came back with a plate full of different items for everyone. 

Cabir: Nandini you’ll have something from this. or should i get something else for you? 

Manik: she is not hungry. Right Nandini 

Cabir: oh really 

Manik: yupp. 

Nandini: yes yes i am just not hungry.

Nandini was feeling really hungry as she hadn’t eaten any breakfast. Manik pushed the tray a little towards her

Manik whispering to nandini: You can eat . It’s fine

Nandini felt irritated so she stood up 

Nandini: guys i need to go. I have some work. Navya see you in class 

Everyone :bye nandini

Nandini went out of the canteen but she was feeling really beyond hungry just then she heard someone calling her name and she knew who it was

Manik: Nandini wait 

Nandini: what?

Manik went towards Nandini and gave her something in her hand and went away whispering into her ears

Manik : for you 

Nandini looked at her hands and found a packet with a burger and fries. And a small smile crept on her face thinking that this guy is not that bad

IN CLASS

Everyone was sitting at their usual places. Nandini was busy checking her notes just then she felt a manly arm brushing with her arm . When she tilted her head she found manik beside her 

Nandini: What are you doing here? 

Manik: Don’t have assumptions please. Actually Cabir wanted to sit with Navya and you know why 

Nandini: hmm it’s fine

Nandini without saying anything sat quietly just because of Navya. The teacher entered the class and the boring lecture started. Manik had no idea when his eyes gave up and he slept.

He woke up when he realised something hot on his head

Teacher threw a piece of chalk on him

Teacher: Manik how can you sleep in my class?

But still manik was in sleep he took nandini’s hand in his and slept holding it again . Nandini tried her best to take her hand back sensing the teachers gaze on them 

Nandini:Manik

The teacher came towards their bench and held manik’s ears

Manik: ouch what the f..... Oh s**t 

Teacher : Mr Manik Malhotra firstly you never attend any of my classes and then you come here and sleep. Out of my class right now 

Manik: but sir- 

Teacher: Are you deaf i said get out

Manik started to move forward but couldn’t, he looked back at Nandini. And she showed him his hand which was still holding her’s. Manik left her hand and was about to move out of the class just then everyone heared an announcement.
