The next few weeks flew by, well for me anyways. The boys return was extremely delayed which worried us all. Dane kept in constant communication but Emmitt’s wife Cora was getting restless. With their return eminent, I decided to throw them a welcome home party. Kai and Daphne arrived the same week we had and have been inseparable ever since. I never find one without the other. I know Kai well and I can tell she is absolutely smitten with Daphne. Whenever Kai isn’t working, I know I can find her with Daph. Now that Kai has finished her nursing program, Dane has her working in the pack hospital. She tells me everyday how much she loves it.
