Before I opened my eyes, I reached my right arm behind me desperately searching for my source of comfort, but he wasn’t there.
“Dane?!” I call out in confusion.
Within seconds he burst through the bedroom door.
“My love I am here, what do you need? I need you to rest.”

“I want to leave Dane, I want to go home with you.”
He kissed my forehead and crawled in the bed next to me enveloping my body into his.
“We will my queen. I just want to make sure your strong enough before we leave. I’ve made arrangements for us to head out tonight.”
“What about my stuff? I need to go get the stuff from my apartment.”
