“They have been married for six months, but it seems like decades,” Daniella answered her boss.
Mr. Michael nodded his head, his lips pressed together.
“I will be in my office, sir.” Daniella excused her boss and left for her office.
As she swung the door open to leave, it abruptly struck someone who was lurking and likely spying on them. “Who's that!?” Daniella yelled and closed the door back quickly in order not to draw Mr. Michael’s attention.
“How long have you been here, Cynthia? Daniella questioned, her voice low.
“I came to drop these files, Mr. Michael asked me to bring them to his office,” Cynthia answered, her voice trembling.
Daniella stood there looking at the files in her hand, and they were the same files they had just worked on a while ago. “Why is she spying on us?”
