Chapter 120: Unshaken Together
Adrian’s POV
On this particular morning, everything seemed quite tranquil. Elena sang sweetly as she made breakfast, Lily sat at the kitchen table sketching, and the sun shone through the windows. The globe seemed to be moving more slowly and steadily for once.
However, peace in our globe was short-lived.
I looked at the notice when my phone buzzed, anticipating an email from one of the vineyard's suppliers. Rather, it was Nathaniel's message:
"NOW look at the tabloid headlines."
My stomach churned with dread as I clicked on the URL he sent. It appeared on the first page of one of the most well-known gossip websites:
"Difficulty in paradise? The wife of Adrian Blackwood is too busy to have a family.
