CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE : Brando and Carlino Lamancusa were relaxing on their bunk beds in their remand cell when they heard their door being unlocked. Two stony-faced, armed officers entered. Both were over six foot in height and quite muscular, but one was about ten years senior and probably in his mid-forties. The older officer, a dark-haired man with a sallow complexion, spoke. “Right, you two. Time for your courtroom appearance.” Neither of the men made any attempt to move.
