CHAPTER FORTY :
The next evening, the couple repeated their visit to a Casino, but this one was not as quite up-market as the Rendezvous. Alex had drawn up a list of Casinos in Central London, from the internet and had chosen one at random.
The place was still busy with punters who, although always hoping to win, were destined to be losers. The only winners, of course, were the owners of the Casino. Some did win, but, as Alex had already noticed, all their winnings were lost in subsequent games. “Why do they never know when to stop?” thought Alex.
As with the previous night, he played the Roulette wheel. Again, his luck was in and, Adrian’s words still ringing in his ears, he stopped before his good luck was noticed
