CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT : Alex felt elated that his visions were far from that. It was as though he was a camera-man able to capture a scene where the criminals were in the act of carrying out their crime. The worst aspect was that he had absolutely no control of what he could observe. He had to take whatever was given, but he now had a hunger for more detailed information. If, somehow, he could “fine tune” this newfound ability, it could prove to be essential to the Intelligence services, making his existence seem more worthwhile. He and Jen had lengthy discussions, where they both tried to work out just how best to utilize his visions to improve his usefulness.
