Dear John (on hold)

A lot has happened since you've been away. Yes, you done it to make your family proud of you, which you have. Your mother and father has talked about you to everyone. Everyone has asked when you're coming home? Hell I've ask myself that as well. Here I am, sitting on my front porch, trying to think how to say this to you. So here's the best I an come up with. John, your parents have died in a house fire. They are still trying to figure it out on how it started. I try to get to them in time before it got to bad, but I end up hurting my own self while doing it. I am truly sorry, John. I tried my best but I ain't you, I ain't nobody, no hero even though people tell me I am. If it wasn't for my bravery and wisdom or whatever you want to call it, for jumping the gun and running into a burning building. I had got your mother out first before you father, but I was to late. She had breath in to much smoke from the fire and died before the fire department or EMTs could get to her. Me almost killing myself in the process. Just hope you can, I don't know, live past this on what I did or tried to do. Love you childhood friend, Jamie. Xoxoxo Hope you guys like this so far.
