Maya went to the bridge running! "Jen! Jen! Stop it!" I shouted. Jenna gasped and turned around, my arms were already tight to the back of her hair and suddenly she calmed down. The storm rested same as the ocean. I knew that whenever the storm became angry it was reacting to Jenna's pain. I didn't know that when I was growing up till Jenna told me. "Why are you hurting so much, you were happy this morning before you left." I asked. "He proposed!" she said looking sad on her face. My hands flew to my mouth in ecstacticness. "That's great news! I'm happy for you, come here" I hugged her once more but the coldness of her body told a different tale.Ok." What's the matter?" "Can't you see? I can't marry him." she said. "Whoa! Wait! I thought you loved him" I was so confused because Jenna would do anything to keep Wyatt. "That's the problem! I do!" she assured me. "Then what's the matter babe?" "He won't accept me for who I am. I'm not real, Aya!" "You're beautiful, you have a heart and a gold one at that. Wyatt loves you, he fell in love with you... I cut it there. "No! What's really happening to me today, I feel strange." she asked me surprised feeling tears coming out of her eyes. "That's tears. It comes out whenever you're very sad." I explained to her. "I guess it sweepes away with the sea in my world." "Yes, but here you feel them." "You're bleeding too, does that mean you're sad?" she saw me shedding tears too. "Yes." I confirmed. "But why?" "Because you're sad." I loved her so much, I enjoyed staying with her and she was the best thing that has ever happened to me. I didn't want to see her hurt at all. "I don't want to see you sad." she sweetly said. "Me too" "Ok ok ok" (she began wiping her tears and pulling herself together) Let's just laugh. And we laughed till our stomachs felt the heat. Minutes after that we held hands looking at each other. While the storm rests! "I must leave, I need to think." I felt a part of me leaving when she said this words. "No! What about Wyatt?" "I can't tell him who I am. I'd rather have him moving on loving me still than have him disgusted by the thought of me." she explained. "He loves you, Jenna! He'll never hurt you, Wyatt cannot live without you please it's not too late. You guys can still get married!" I had to find something to keep her, I knew she loved Wyatt. "And I lied to him." she blamed herself. "I have to go sweetheart, I'll come back soon" she continued. "But we can think together, I'll help you think and we'll come up with a solution, Jenna you're everything that has ever happened to Wyatt... to me! How can you leave like this, why are you doing this? Don't you love us anymore!" I pleaded with her not to leave but I could see on her face that she already made up her mind about leaving and there was nothing i could do to stop her but losing her even for a minute was my biggest fear "You're well sure that I love you, When I saw you falling from the deep sea I didn't want to save you but my heart couldn't let me. When I held you in my arms seeing you lifeless, I was pained! You're the best thing that has ever happened to me Maya! Never question that for a second" she explained. "Whoa wait, what's happening" I looked around at the sea and the storm was still rested while Jenna begin shedding tears pouring her out to me. I was amazed! "What is it Maya" she asked. "You're crying but the storm is not reacting" she laughed a bit and smiled for a few seconds. "It's called love, I'm not shedding water because I'm sad but it's because I'm happy to be standing right here with you" she said. "It's called 'crying' Jenna!" I laughed at her "That's what I said Maya" We both laughed! "Can you please stay?" I begged her. "No, I can't sweetheart" she said, soothing my cheeks. "I understand, and as much as it hurts me I'm letting you go but on one condition" I demanded "Anything for you" she assured me. "Just promise me that one day you'll come back for me and for Wyatt, and that I'll be your maid of honour when you and Wyatt get married" Jenna sighed and threw a gaze at me! "I... I, Maya my father will never allow me to marry a human, he'll disown me" she explained "Your father doesn't love you Jenna, he let your step mom to abuse you, right? Why would you go back to those people? How will I sleep knowing that you are hurt wherever you are?" "Maya, I'm so sorry!" she apologized. "Don't apologize to me, you owe yourself that apology. Jen! Claim your life. Don't waste it living a lie and unhappy. I know you are happy here, you have your peace here and you've just found love here! Why would you want to throw that away. You've been here for 7 months and I haven't heard you talking about going back home, please don't do this to yourself" "I get everything that you're saying, you're indeed a good friend Maya and you're right I can't give up my love for Wyatt and for you! Let me go home and say my goodbyes and i promise you that I'll fulfill your wishes" she said. "Okay let me go with you then" I offered Jenna gazed at me, trying to hold herself not to laugh "You'll not survive at the ocean or should I remind you?" she laughed finally. I came to my senses and laughed at me with her. She kissed me on my cheeks! "Please don't say goodbye, just leave" I said crying. "And I will not knock nor ring any bells when I come back" She gave me a very long and tight hug Jenna walked and stood at the end of the bridge and swim away. I kneeled down and cried. I felt like a part of me was wrongly ripped off within me. "Where is she Maya? I've been looking for her everywhere!" While I was on my knees I heard a voice and it was Wyatt! I got up quickly and wiped my tears trying to fake a smile. "Maya! Answer!" he shouted. "She, she, Jen... is" I stuttered "She's what! where is she I need answers!" He demanded "She, you don't look well Wyatt, calm down" "Don't tell me what to do, Jenna broke my heart Maya. I proposed to her and she said no and ran off, I was a fool I thought she loved me" he explained. "She does love you but she just can't be with you..." Oh sh*t what the hel* have I said, me and my big mouth! "What! is there someone else in her life?" he calmly asked, drained by pain! "No that's not what she said Wyatt?" I tried to explain. Although i couldn't tell him the truth I still felt like he had the right to know. "Then where is she?" he shouted. "She went home!" I said. Wyatt left, thinking that when I said 'home' I meant my place where I stayed with her. "No Wyatt not my place! She went to her birth home" I explained. Wyatt came back running! "Tell me the place then I'll go to her" he demanded. "I don't know, she didn't tell me" I lied through my teeth. He gazed at me wondering whether i knew the truth or not. "I know you're lying, You know you're lying but for what?" I remained silent but the pain I saw in his eyes begged for my honesty but I was too loyal to my best friend and I wouldn't betray her. Wyatt nodded twice and then left.
