How It Started
Hello, it is very nice to meet you. My name is Julia, I am a new director in town, and I just wanted to come by and meet the nice people here in Wallaceville. I want to let you know how it all started and how I became the new director here in town. Let me begin my very interesting story.
Well, it all started when I was a student at Allentown University. I was trying to figure out what I wanted to major in when I met Stan. He was a student in the theater department and he was looking for new students to join the department. He handed me the flyer and asked if I had chosen a major yet. As I looked into his deep brown eyes, I got a little lost.
Stan, you see standed 6'5", with brown wavy hair and a body to die for. He was very handsome, and I just keep wondering why he was in the theater department, if he was this handsome. As we stood there and I was lost in thought, he asked me again, "Have you chosen your major yet?" I was snapped out my trance and responded."No, not yet." He told me all about what the department had to offer, and he made it sound like it was something that I wanted to be a part of.
I looked over the flyer, and I told him I would think about it, and he gave me a very big smile and nodded his head. As he walked away, a thought ran through my head. Should this be my major, and is this my calling. You see, I am a freshman, and I am new to town, so I guess this is my calling.
Just as I thought, it was my calling. I always wanted to be a director, actress, or producer of my own movie or stage play. The next day came, and I rushed to the admissions office to tell my counselor that I chose a major when out of nowhere, I heard a voice. "Julia, why are you in a hurry?" As I turned around, I was met with those brown eyes from yesterday. It was Stan. I wonder how he knew my name, I don't remember telling him my name when we met. I shrugged it off and responded, "Oh hi, I'm on my way to the admissions office to speak with my counselor about my major. I thought about all the majors here, and now I think I found one that I love." I responded. "Oh, really. Do you mind letting me in on which one is that?" he asked. Well, you see, if I had not been handed that flyer yesterday, then I wouldn't have known which major I was really interested in. Just like the first time we met, I got lost in those brown eyes. "Hello, did you hear me?" he said.
"Oh, yes, I did hear you. The major I chose is theater. I want to be a director of my own production one day, and this will help me." I responded. "A director. I see, I knew it was a reason why we ran into each other." he responded. As we were talking, I looked down at my watch, "Oh shoot, I'm late. I have to go, sorry."
