Chapter 5

She closed the door behind her still feeling tingles where there foreheads touched. She had just enough time to wonder why she could feel the mate pull when she was human, when something incredibly hard hit her in the face. She fell sideways and hit her head on the wall. She heard her partners voice say

"You stupid Bi**h I give you everything and you cheat on me." It wasn't a question it was a statement. He must have seen her pull in.

"It's not what you think"

"It's not is its well then tell me what you were doing driving around with some strange man. I wondered where you had been going you stupid w***e. Now I know!" He said emphasizing the last statement by hitting her again.

"We just met He was just seeing me Home. Just a good citizen that was worried about me."

" Bulls**t I saw how he looked and you and he touched you."

He hit her one more time she let out a scream. She heard one of her kids screaming at there Dad to stop hurting her. She was gong to die they all were because she was selfish and thought she could be happy. The tears came there was no holding them back. At that moment she heard a growl and couldn't believe her eyes.

There was Arthur standing in her doorway eyes black, anger etched on his beautiful face. He smacked her partner aside though she was sure he had not killed him.

"Come near her again, touch her again and you will die." Arthur growled with all the authority he had.

Her partner mumbled somthing about police but curled up fetal style and didn't make another sound. Arthur gently picked her up and beckoned the children to come with him, they were frozen with fear.

"It's OK you can trust him" she managed before she passed out.

Arthur's Pov

The kids joined Arthur and they left the house. He made sure to close the door. They all climbed into Allen's car, Arthur placing her in the back seat. He turned over the engine and started the long drive to the pack house. He would have Allen checked with the pack doctor when they got there. He had a really bad feeling so he stepped on it. The kids after he assured them everything would be OK fell into a fitful sleep.

I shouted out my window for pack security to let me in. As soon as the gate was open I was through it I sped up the long drive and came to a stop at the top of the hill. The large pack house in front of me. I linked my beta to come to the front on my way up the drive. He was waiting for me.

"there are three kids in the back of this car, find them rooms, get them food, whatever they need" I shouted to him as I ran past with my mate. Somthing was not right with her.

"But they are human" He replies through the mind link.

"That doesn't matter I will explain later treat them like they were my pups, if anything happens to them its your head. Do you understand?" I poor my Alpha power into my command.

"yes Alpha" He says but I can feel his confusion.

Admittedly it was an odd request but I did not care at the moment. I burst through the pack hospital door shouting for the doctor to come help. The pack doctor Greg and 2 nurses came around the corner. Now that I was here I felt helpless and I just looked and Greg and said help her please. To his credit he didn't ask he just had me bring her to an exam room and lay her on the bed.

Greg and nurses examined Allen for what seemed like forever. I was having a literally panic attack the whole time I couldn't breathe, or think,tears were streaming down my face. I just wanted Allen to be ok.

Finally after what felt like hours I hear Greg.

"Alpha"

"What is it is she Alright?" Greg looked incredibly worried as if he was afraid of what I would do if he answered me.

"She is stable, but I'm afraid she may be paralyzed. she seems to have broken her neck. A wolf would heal but she is human and a fragile one at that."

I looked at Greg like he was crazy He had just given me the answer to the problem. I remained calm and said

"Well you said it I will just have to turn her, she is my mate I would most like have anyway."

"I told you she is fragile she most likely would die from the venom, you also do not have her consent."

" She told me while I was listening in wolf form that all she has ever wanted was for werewolves to be real. Hopeing a mate would come and rescue her. She said she wouldn't have even cared if it was an omega.I think that counts as consent."

With that I extended my fangs and I bit Allen injecting my venom before they could stop me. Though I could hear them screaming at me to stop.

"She is my mate she will survive, the goddess doesn't make mistakes."

I sat down and took my mates had she would need the comfort the change was painful but it was the only way I could not lose her.
