Chapter 13

Arthur's pov

I was headed to get the kids for dinner, Allen was cooking for us. She was the most amazing person, I wonder who told her chicken parm was my favorite. I thought I was the strong one though I kept telling her not to worry that this wasn't a dream, and I would always be here for her. However when I woke up and she wasn't there I panicked. If I had calmed down a minute I would have realized her scent was still in our room. Thankfully I thought to mind link her and she was still there. I ran down to the kitchen just to hold her. Deep in thought I had reached the game room without really realizing where I was going. I saw the kids just chatting with some of the pups and walked over to them.

"Hey guys your mom is making dinner for us."

"Awesome mom is the best cook you will see." all three said smiling at me.

"It should be ready soon, go wash up and meet us in the kitchen."

"Come on guys let's go." said Damion as the kids got up and waved goodbye to their friends.

I smiled and headed back to the kitchen. I needed to be close to Allen again. When I arrived back at the kitchen she looked up and smiled.

"Did you find the kids? it's almost ready the cheese is just melting in the oven."

"They should be on their way, I sent them to wash up." I said well pulling her into a deep kiss feeling the tingles of the mate bond.

She returned the kiss until we both had to come up for air. Just as we did the kids walked in.

"Good timing." I giggled and she winked at me.

Allen plated the food which turned out to not only be the chicken, but also mashed potatoes, and broccoli.

"I know pasta is traditional, but I have always preferred this."

"No I love this this is my favorite who told you."

"No one, I just cooked something I love.

I smiled and gave her a kiss. We all at our meals in almost silence it was so good we really didn't have time to talk. After dinner we sat and chatted for a bit before me and Allen went up to our room. We brought Theo with us and got him ready for bed. I tucked him in and read him a story it was amazing.

Allen and I went back to our room snuggled and watched TV until we fell asleep.

Allen's pov (about a week later)

I had been settling into life at the pack house, and was slowly learning my way around. I had got the kids registered for school here, and they had started attending the day before last. I was spending every morning watching the warriors train trying to learn how they move. I was not permitted to precipitate yet but I would be after tomorrow.

Tomorrow is my Luna ceremony. I'm nervous but, more excited. I used to be so scared and anxious all the time but here I felt ready, and happy.

The next day... Allen's pov

The whole pack house was flurry of activity and had been for the last several hours. Tents were being put up around the pool and back yard area , I could smell all kinds of food cooking, and everything I tried to help I was shooed and told it was my special day. Nell had finally for finished helping and come to find me.

"Hey hun it's time to get you ready the sun is starting to set."

"Wow it's that time already, alright let's go."

We went up to my room, Nell stopping at heats to grab her own dress for the event. First nell did her own hair and them mine, mine was so short we couldn't do much but it looked amazing when she was done. She then did my makeup she used green, and a little bit of brown for the eyes, thin winged liner and a light pink/brown lip. I don't think I ever have looked so amazing.

I was over come with emotion and in an attempt not to cry I gave nell a huge hug.

"Thank you so much." I said

"no problem at all, no crying though or you will ruin it."

"I can guarantee it will be ruined at some point tonight in a crier, plus swimming." I laughed

"Well hold out as long as you can." She laughed back.

"Have you seen Arthur, I haven't seen him all day ."

"Yes briefly, he is very busy with the preparations for the ceremony. He asked me to tell you he would see you there.

I pouted I missed him.

"He is trying to make your special day as special as it can be. Now the dress."

I slipped into my dress and zipped up the side I turned to look in the mirror.

I looked perfect.

Arthur's pov

I had not seen Allen all day, I had been so busy with the prep. I had decided to hold a small extra ceremony welcoming Allen's kids to the pack. Even though they were human I wanted it to be known that they are the Alpha children. I missed having her with me though, when did I become so mushy I laughed to myself. I had just enough time to shower and change for the ceremony. I headed up to our room to do just that hopeing Allen might still be there and I could catch a glimpse. Unfortunetly she was gone when I got there, her sent was fresh though I must have just missed her.

I quickly showered and changed into my suit, It matched the brown of Allen's dress, and I accessorized with a green tie so the outfit matched her dress perfectly. As soon as I was ready I headed outside I was cutting it close.

It was 11pm and I headed outside, the whole yard was lit up with twinkle lights. There were a few hundred chairs set up in front of a big stage I almost looked like a wedding. I made my way to the front and climbed onto the stage. The rest of the pack was starting to file in and the chairs were filling up quickly. I chatted with Alexies and

Phil while we waited. It was now 11:30 all the chairs were full it was time to start.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to our Luna ceremony, a day I thought would never come."

"Good evening Alpah." the pack said back and most looked very pleased to be here.

" First I would like to introduce you too 3 very special people. As many of you may already know my mate already had children before we met. I have decided that these children are mine. Human or not that makes them Alpha. Treat them with respect and we will have no problems. I will now officially introduce Damion, Andraste, and Theodore."

The children walked up to the stage looking nervous.

" Alright you guys." I said when the reached me. I am going to welcome you officially to the pack ok so I need you to answer a couple of questions they are easy don't worry."

"ok." They whispered together.

" Do you Damion, Theodore, and Andraste promise to be the best pack members you can be and accept me as Alpha and father even though you are human?"

"Yes of course we do." They said

"OK now we need to seal it with blood." The children looked concerned. " Don't worry It's a very small amount even smaller since you are human children, but it is the only way to make it official." The older 2 nodded and Damion quickly explained it to Theo in 4 year old terms.

I stood up and took the ceremonial dagger from Alexies. I gently poked each of their index fingers with the sharp tip and drew a drop of blood, I then did the same to my own index finger. In turn I held my finger to theirs one by one mixing the blood while I promised to be the best Alpha and father I could be. I didn't expect much from this other then the tradition, but as I finished speaking the wind picked up and I felt the magic bond them to the pack. Odd but I could not be happier.

The whole pack cheered as I showed them to their seats in the front row. I made my way back up to the stage and spoke again.

"Now It is time for me to introduce officially for the first time my mate and your Luna Allen."

Allen walked out from the back, and I could not believe my eyes she looked even more incredible then she ever had. The dress fit perfectly, her short hair framed her face, and her makeup just extenuated he natural beauty. She walked up to the stage smiling I swear I didn't see any nerves at all. I felt tears come to my eyes she was perfect. Soon she was standing beside me and smiling up at me.

"Hello everyone I am Allen and I'm so happy to be here. I hope I make a good Luna to you all." She said as applause erupted from the pack.

"ok Allen it's one minute to midnight it's time." I said

she held out her hand and I made a small cut, I then did the same to my own.

"Do you Allen promise to be my mate and this packs Luna to the best of you abilities for as long as you are able."

"I do." She smiled and giggled

"I promise to be the best mate and Alpha I can be to you for as log as I am able."

At the stroke of midnight I place my hand in hers mixing our blood.

The wind picked up and I felt Intense magic and the bond was made.

"Now we run!!!" I said well getting ready to shift. Allen looked so excited, I hoped her first shift went well.
