Chapter 7

Allen's Pov

"Mom,Mom, Mom you're OK!" my kids ran in and jumped on me. Damion looked at Arthur and said

"She I going to be ok right."

"yes I believe so, I was just about to go ask the doctor about that I will give you guys a minute." Arthur said as he turned to leave the room.

I shivered a little when he left. I was honestally starting to think maybe there was somthing to this mate bond.

"I missed you mom" said Theodore as he gave me a hug.

"I missed you to buddy."

"Guess what Mom they have Mario here."

"That's so awesome I know anything Mario is you favorite."

"Mom will we go back to the old house?"

"I don't think so"

"That's ok Mom this place is Awesome!" said Andraste

"Did you know they are werewolves! I love anythung supernatural I thought it was all pretend but its real." She squeeled. " I miss Dad but he hurt you so if we have to find a new home I hope its here."

"I kind of agree." said Damion. " Arthur has done nothing but take good care of us, he so busy but still finds time to hang with us. He doesn't even know us, he isn't even our Dad and I feel happier and more loved here then I ever did at home" He said pitting air quotes around the last word.

Just then Arthur walked back in to the room with the doctor.

"Hello Alllen how are you feeling?" asked Dr. Greg.

"Amazing honestally, I don't think I have ever felt so good." I paused for a moment realizing something crazy. " Doctor I have no pain, I mean I'm stiff form being in bed for God knows how long, wait how long?"

"A month give or take" said Arthur.

"A month wow, anyway like I said I'm stiff but no pain." Arthur smiled at my words.

"That is awesome Mrs. Allen, I believe you can leave the hospital anytime you wish." Doctor Greg said as he pulled out my IV, gave a small bow, and left out of the room, also bowing his head to Arthur on the way out.

Just as the Doctor left another man shorter, slightly less good looking, and with brown eyes insted of green walked in.

"What do you want Alexies, can't you see I am with my family?" Arthur growled.

"Arthur I have told you, you do not have time for these humans."

" I'm not sure who you think you are talking to" Arthur said with a hint of power that made my skin prickle.

"I have told you, Allen is my mate and her children will be my children. If you would take the time to sniff before you speak you would realize Allen is no longer human."

The man called Alexies sniffed the air and looked at me shocked. I smiled and said

"I'm guessing your the Beta."

Alexies looked at Arthur shrugged and walked out.

"Alright everyone let's get your mom out of this hospital bed." Arthur said with a clap of his hands seemingly unbothered by his Betas reaction.

Allen's Pov

Arthur bent down and grabbed somthing from a small cupboard. While he was bent over I don't know what came over me, but I took a moment to look at his a** and what an a** it was. I have always liked a nice a** just out of a coma or not the sight made me a little wet. I could have sworn I heard a growl; however when Arthur stood up and turned around he appeared completely composed. He handed me some clothes. That must have been what he was grabbing while I was stareing.

"It's not much but they look to be about your size, we will have to get you some new clothes soon. come on kids let's give your mother some space to get dressed. we will wait for you outside the door." He said and ushered the kids out.

When I heard the door close I got out of bed. I crossed the room to look in the mirror that was hanging on the wall. Getting the first real good look at myself. I was still short 5'4" but everything else had changed. My legs were muscular and strong looking, my tummy was flat and looked honetally how I had always dreamed it would. My hair had grown a little and I could have sworn that when I moved my head there was now a hint of red. I looked as amazing as I felt.

"How is this possible?" I said out loud to no one in particular seeing as I was alone.

"It is a gift from the Goddess and myself, it is also why your change took so long. We had to stay in a healing state for this change to take place"

I was startled for a moment wondering who answered, then I remembered wolf that is going to take some getting used to.

"It seem so impossible" I said in my head hopeing that was how it worked.

"The Goddess can do many things, and she felt you deserved somthing good."

I smiled to myself I actually felt happy, tears came to my eyes I had forgotten what it was like. I put on the clothes Arthur gave me they were a decent fit. I made a mental note to ask who lent them to me so I could say thank you. Once I was dressed I walked out the door, Arthur and the kids where there waiting for me. The kids ran up and hugged me again.

"How about a tour?" Arthur said while taking my hand. I felt sparks there and let him hold it.

"That sounds nice." I wanted to say we wouldn't impose much longer but with him holding my hand I never wanted to leave.

Arthur showed me the kitchen, the training ground, the school, the pool(I loved to swim and the pool was huge), and finally the game room.

"Mom can we go play with our friends?"my children asked.

"Of course go ahead."

"We will come and find you for dinner, I have one more place to show your mom."

This was news to me but I knew my children were safe with the others, I mean they had been palying with them for a month already, so I let myself get led away.

We climbed up several flights of stair to what seemed to be the top floor, it also seemed to be only bedrooms. As we passed by 3 doors 2 on the right 1 on the left Arthur said

"These 3 are the kids rooms."

"Good to know." I said.

we walked a little farther down the hall to the very end.

"This one is mine." he said as he pushed the door open.

Inside was the most amazing room I had ever seen. The bed took up half the room and was in the center. The whole back wall was a window and the view was breath taking. You could see the forest and mountains that must have been behind the pack house. There was a mini fridge and a huge TV. The colours where greens and browns mostly I loved it so much I felt I could have decorated it myself. I snapped myself out of the stupor caused by the room being so beautiful and saw Arthur looking at me expectantly.

"It's breathtaking I love it, but why are you showing me this one."

"I know you just got out of somthing bad, and I don't want to push, but you are my mate and I have waited so long I was hoping you would stay here with me. Even if I have to sleep on the couch."

"I feel it too you know the pull, I did even when I was human. I could smell you too somehow. I want you, I want to believe this could all be real, but I have suffered so much. How do I know that you don't want me just because of the bond, or because I'm beautiful now."

" Now? you were beautiful before all the Goddess gave you was the ability to survive being a wolf. I would have taken you as you were human and sickly. I would have been gentle for the rest of my life, taken care of you, and shielded you for other packs. If others had said you made me weak I would have killed them. Alexies is lucky he is my Bata isaulting you like that. I know its hard to understand because you were human, but I love you already."

"I come with baggage and children. I don't feel like a good person. I have so many bad habits."

"It doesn't matter we will deal with it together. Those children, I have known them a month and they are the most amazing children I have ever met. I'll take them with you they are mine human or not. I'm gonna throw all caution to the wind and say if Damion choose to become a wolf when he is older I would count him my first born and give him the Alpha title."

I looked at Arthur and smiled I wanted to believe this man I could see one more issue.

"I...I... can't have anymore kids and I know how important that is for wolves, if the stories are to be believed."

With this comment Arthur closed the space between us with such speed even my new wolf eyes had trouble seeing it. He grabbed me and pulled my face to his crushing his lips against mine. It felt like he was trying to put years of pent up feelings into that one kiss. I kissed him back hard my mouth opened and our tounges danced together. We held on until we held on until my lungs burned and I had to come up for air. Arthur placed his forehead on mine.

"I love you Allen I can't help it. You are my mate my everything I have waited so long. I'll take all the flaws, I would have taken in 20 children if it meant I got to have you."

If he was a human this would all be crazy fast but every story I have read about wolves this is how it is one look at your mate and that's it for life. I should be scared, or upset , but I honestally feel happy, and loved for the first time in a long time. This may be a mistake but it just feels right.

"I think I love you too Arthur. I want to stay forever please please tell me I never have to leave your side, and you, me and the kids will be happy forever."

"I can't promise it will be perfect but I promise I will love you and those kids until my dieing breath."

With that I kissed him hard again the sparks between us were insane I could get used to this.
