Chapter 18

Allen's Pov

It had been a few weeks since the challenge, and the pack had really settled down. After the reports of what I did got around, I guess the pack decided they were actually in good hands. What was even better was all the pack members seeking me out to meet me and get to know me. I was making an effort to learn as many names as possible. I had also started to bake treats for the whole pack which everyone seemed to enjoy.

I was feeling very tired today, so I decided to spend it floating in the pool, reading. Arthur came and joined me at some point, and we just relaxed and enjoyed each others company. After we had been in the sun for far, far to long we decided to go inside and order pizza. I was starving and ordered a large pizza with the works for myself. The guys couldn't understand how I could eat all that stuff on the same pizza. They were the pepperoni and sausage type. I couldn't wait for the pizza I couldn't ever remember being so hungry.

When the pizza finally came we sat, ate it and watched a movie. I finished mine off, these were big larges even with my wolf appetite it was a lot of food. Once I was done eating I fell asleep thirty minutes into the movie, and only woke up when Arthur carried me to bed. Why was I so tired, I hope I'm not getting sick. "wolves don't get sick." I heard Gemma scoff. Arthur laid me down on the bed and got in beside me, I put my head on his shoulder and was sound asleep again in seconds.

When I woke the next morning, I was starving. I disentangled myself from Arthur who was still fast asleep. Today was an off training day. I had a quick shower,got dressed, left a note for Arthur so he wouldn't panic, and went to find some food.

When I entered the kitchen, the omegas were preparing egg sandwiches. I asked if I could grab a couple.

"Of course Luna, have as many as you want." They smiled.

I sat in the kitchen and visited with them while I ate. I was halfway through my third sandwich when it hit me. I remembered feeling like this before, but that's not possible. I decided that I had to find out crazy or not. I bid farewell to the omegas, took the rest of the sandwich with me, and headed straight to the pack hospital.

"Good morning Luna." said the nurse at the desk, I had never met her before.

"Good morning, is Dr.Greg in?"

"I believe so let me go see for you." She smiled and headed to the back to find the doctor.

Why am I here I thought, it's not possible, I'm being silly, but still I had to be sure. Just as I was contemplating running the nurse emerged from the back with the doctor.

"Luna, what can I help you with today?" asked Dr. Greg with a big smile.

" I was hoping we could speak in private."

" Of course my dear, fallow me."

The Doctor led me to the farthest room from the desk, I assumed so we can have the most privacy possible. He closed the door behind us.

" Now Luna what seems to be the problem?"

"Well you see I have been feeling really off. Tired, really hungry, and achey. Apart from the hunger all things that I stopped experiencing at such a high level when I became a wolf. When I was eating breakfast this morning I remembered another time I felt like this, three times actually, but that's impossible." I blurted out all at once.

"So what are you saying Luna?"

" I know it sounds crazy, but I think I'm pregnant, I can't be I had my tubes removed, but I think I am." I said quietly.

"That does sound very improbable, however Luna you are an improbability a human as sickly as you should never have survived the venom. Then there is your children wolves without being bitten. I will do the test right away."

The doctor wanted to do both kinds of test, the first for an immediate answer, and the second to determine how far along. Greg drew some blood, then had me give a urine sample. Dr. Greg dipped the test and I waited holding me breath. not even thirty seconds later I saw two pink lines. Unstoppable tears streamed down my face.

"Congratulations Luna."

" I can't believe, thought I would never, I'm so happy." I said incoherently.

" Shall we call the Alpha?"

"Not yet let's let the dating test come back I want to think of an epic way to tell him. He was so happy to have children even though they were not his biologically. I want this to be special for him. how long will the test take?"

"It should be ready tomorrow morning."

"Awesome, Thank you Doctor I'll see you in the morning."

With that I headed off to find Nell so she could help me plan how to tell Arthur.
