Lunawyn POV
"Luna, let's get you ready for the event happening today." I heard screams of my name, and my body shook repeatedly.
I opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling in shock and confusion.
Where exactly was I?
I was just rejected and killed by my mate, so how did I get to open my eyes?
"You are awake, Flower." I heard another voice and sat up, regaining control of myself.
My eyes met with my mother and Lykania, who was holding an exquisite blue dress for me. This was the same dress from two years ago.
What was going on?
I stood up alert, walking over to the calendar in front of the dressing table.
24-10-2025
My eyes widened again with shock and disbelief. I was in my previous life. Real, real.
Today marked the day I turned 23, and Orion revealed that he knew I was his mate and proposed to me.
We have been dating since I was 20, and today marks our anniversary because I met him on my birthday.
"Happy Birthday to Lunawyn!" My mother and sister yelled, and the light went out.
It did not even surprise me because it happened so early.
All the pack members would be present, and the lights would be turned on again.
As I had mentioned, the light was turned on, and I noticed many people.
"Happy birthday to our Luna." They all yelled together and revealed the Coven title.
Today was the day I was given the title of Luna, which felt surreal to me at the time. I was surprised, but it no longer meant anything to me.
All of my sister's beautiful smiles appeared to be fake to me. Even my mother and father gave me false information. They have never loved me.
I wanted to exact vengeance. I was prepared to go to any length to exact revenge.
"Are you not pleased about this?" Lykania whispered into my ears, gently bumping me with the side of her waist, and I returned with a fake smile.
"I was just surprised; I had no idea what to do or how to react." I defended, and she smiled.
A smile that did not reach her heart. The old Lunawyn would have thought she meant well when she smiled, but the dead emotional Lunawyn would not.
""This is not you, Wyn. You would have jumped up in delight."" She said, and I scoffed internally.
I am older than you, Lykania. You should already be aware of this.
"I was just....
"You have been off since you awoke, Wyn." She curtly interrupted my words. "You even looked at the calendar." "That is new." She said, and I rolled my eyes.
""I was surprised to see you guys here, and I had to double-check the calendar to make sure it was my birthday. "I am having fun here," I responded, causing her to bump me again playfully.
This was her way of expressing her happiness, but it did not freak me out at all.
""A party has been thrown for you at night. Trust me, you are going to love it."" She smiled quickly, taking me into her embrace as the members present praised her.
"Get things started, please!" My mother declared, and I realized the moon goddess had been so kind to me.
I never expected to be back here, but I am here to make a difference.
~~~The Ball Party> Birthday Party>
My hands rested on the trails as I gazed at the prestigious Alphas and Lycans who had gathered for me.
I would have been happier to see people respect my new age, but that was no longer me.
I sighed tiredly, sucking on my teeth as I considered what I wanted to do today.
I would never be involved with someone like Alpha Orion, not now or ever.
My eyes scanned the crowd as I adjusted the beautiful blue dress that complimented my slim figure and beautifully wrapped hair.
It eventually came to a halt when the people were having a pleasant conversation. It was just them, my boyfriend and sister.
I had overlooked the love in their eyes and the way they interacted with one another in the future, but now that I see things clearly, I realize I would have been a fool all along.
They blushed at each other, winking and speaking sheepishly.
Scumbags.
The more I stared at Orion, the more hatred I developed for him.
After a few minutes, I slowly descended the stairs, drawing stares and attention from various angles.
"Happy birthday, Lunawyn of Cormar Pack." I heard hails from the right and left, and to be honest, I despised the feeling of getting well on my birthday.
To me, I was over the age of 23, and my heart bled as I sought revenge.
"Luna will now deliver a heartfelt speech to the members." The announcer said, and I approached the man, taking the microphone from him.
"Friends, family, and beloved pack members," I said, looking at everyone to see if they were there.
""As we gather here tonight to celebrate my birthday, I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to every one of you. Your love and support mean everything to me, and I consider myself extremely fortunate to be a part of this amazing pack. T...."
I could not finish my speech when Alpha Orion appeared, smiling. He knelt on the floor, his hands now clasped together as I stared at him in confusion.
Not that I was not expecting it, but was he that dumb to notice I was in the middle of an appreciation?
""I have always loved you, Lunawyn. In the three years I have known you, you have been the best part of me. I just found out that I am your fated mate, and I apologize for only now admitting it. Let us make this official. Become my gi.""
"No, No," I snickered inwardly as I shook my head in disagreement with his words.
"I, Lunawyn of the Cormar Pack, reject you, Alpha Orion of the Orion Pack, forever," I announced in the future, echoing his words.
Everyone gasped at the realization of what I said, and I could hear whispers and gasps from both sides as I left his premises, but did I care?
