Lunawyn POV
"How dare you, wyn?!" My father's cold and authoritative voice filled the air as he stood in front of me, flinging his hands sideways to express his anger.
""How dare you humiliate me in front of my important guests. If you wanted bad luck, you could have done it after the event, but you chose to embarrass yourself."" He went on a tirade, his eyes red with rage, but I remained silent, staring peacefully at my mother and Lykania, who looked terrified.
"Are you deaf!" He lashed out, and I cleared my throat.
"Father, I never intended it this way, and I do not want him as my mate." I refused, and he snorted.
""Do you think mates should be rejected like that? You're a disgrace to me"". He bawled, walking out of my room.
"The Luna's title has caused you to lose memory." I heard him say as he slammed the door behind him.
My mother gave me a long stare before walking away. She never had anything to say, which baffles me.
Perhaps that is why she held back when Lykania married Orion.
Father must have made that possible; he desired something that would make him well known.
I have always loved Orion. However, at the time, I had no feelings for him. Not even a bit.
I was now left with Lykania's intense stares at me.
"Stop giving me those creepy stares," I warned as I stood up to undress, but she continued to stare at me.
"People are already leaving, and your mate is still on his knees." She announced, and I snorted.
Really?
"Then he should stay there for eternity," I said nonchalantly, and she gasped in disbelief.
""Wyn, that is overly harsh! "When did you become this way?" She inquired, surprised by my current words, but I simply continued cleaning off my makeup.
""I am not the harshest one here. He has been doing stupid things since the time I have known him, and I do not need him anymore."" I replied, and she approached me.
""Had he done something wrong this time? Why have you been acting out recently? This is not the Wyn I know. You adore Orion and long for him to recognize you as his mate. She stated, and I scoffed while staring at her.
My next question caught her off guard, and she opened her mouth wide, stunned by my words.
""When did Alpha Orion turn into Orion for you? You suddenly have the right to address him that way."" I said, and she retreated backwards, holding onto my table for support so she would not fall.
I looked up at her emerald eyes, which matched mine, but she had short curly blonde hair.
There was a striking resemblance, but who would have expected her to do something like this to me in the future, given her calm demeanor?
""Wyn, you tend to take things personally. I am just addressing him that way, because he is your mate, and after all, he will be marrying you in no time. She responded, and I bit my lip.
"To you, right?" I inquired, and she looked at me puzzled.
"Huh?"
""Yes, I mean, he would marry you as his mate. Kania, can I have some peace? Kania, can I have some peace? "From you?" I inquired, and she gulped hard.
"Okay. I apologize for imposing too much. You are the eldest, after all, and your decision is final with me."" She spoke, and I muttered beneath my nose.
""Yeah, why won't you make the final decision? "" Because you want him badly.""
She stared for a moment before walking out of my room, but just when I thought I was finally at peace, she returned.
"Or.... Alpha Orion is here,"" she stated, and my eyes darkened as I stood up.
"I do not welcome him in," I responded immediately, but it was too late because he was already inside the room.
Lykania raised her hands in surrender, giving a 'This is not my fault' expression as she exited the room with a loud thud.
He glared around the room before settling on me, seductively.
I snorted; who does he believe he is? Using those deceptive eyes on me.
"What did I do wrong, my Lady?" He asked as he walked over to me, and I retreated, extending my hand for him to keep his distance.
""Please leave, Orion. "I am not interested in this drama," I responded, and he massaged his temples while staring deeply into my eyes, revealing the tattoo around his neck.
To be honest, I began to wonder why I had fallen in love with this man at first. He did not even suit my tastes. Old Lunawyn must be incredibly foolish.
Dyed pink hair which doesn't even match his color. I wondered where I'd gotten him from.
""I deserve an explanation. Don't you think? This is not a game you would abandon for no apparent reason. Why would you even reject me?"" He inquired, walking closely to me and every step he took feared me.
"Orion, back off!" I warned, trembling backwards, and he shook his head.
""No, why should I? Until you explain the reasons for your sudden change of mind. Yesterday, you were still telling me how much you loved me. What has changed today? "Do I look different?" He asked with a sneer.
Was he like this? Yes, I did see this side of him in the future.
""That girl was completely blind. That girl yesterday was blind, but not anymore."" I bawled in defense as he snickered.
""Because you suddenly received the title of Luna? Huh?"" I gulped in response to his question.
""After all, that is exactly what you wanted. You just proposed to me because you knew I would receive the Luna title today, which was for your good. Isn't it suspicious? Why did you realize I was your mate today? It has been three good years. "Why is it just now?" I screamed, and he laughed.
"Do you think humiliating me is the best way to repay that?" He yelled, grabbing a hard metal and throwing it at me as I screamed for my life.
