Viscountess Agatha's Point of View In stared at the yellowish sky. ''The sun is about to sleep.'' I said to him. ''And it's beautiful.'' ''Oh. I saw Thalia in the party last night. Outside, she was running towards the deep of the woods and was crying.'' ''What?'' Eugene asked. ''Well, since I was born until last year they thought I'll pursue the violin. It all started when I received a letter at Harvard medical school. Mama was furious about it while Papa was beyond shook that they ignored me for days.'' Thalia seems to be really stressed out about her family. 'The duke and the duchess are scumbags when it comes to Thalia.' ''Well, you are stronger than before, Thalia. Just make sure you graduate and become a well known physician.'' I stood up and offered her my arm. I want to dance her in the party. ''You bet I will.'' She grabbed onto me. Seeing Thalia bein left out by her parents hurts me. I have never experienced being neglected by my papa and mama so it's kind of sad to realize that there are children in this whole wide world being neglected, be it nobles or commoners. ''Will you go the party with me, Lady Thalia?'' I asked with a smile. ''Yes. It is very sweet of you, Viscountess.'' she replied. ''I am sweet.'' we laughed at my corniness. ''Are you marrying this season, Viscountess?'' She asked which I answered with a body shake. It made her laugh. ''I take that as a no, Viscountess.'' ''Are you marrying this season, Thalia?'' I asked back. ''Marriage is not my goal this year nor for the next years.'' she asnwered. I opened the glass door for her, everyone was looking at us when we entered. ''They must be talking about us, Viscountess. Thinking that I am stained by your sodomy.'' she said. Thalia is very confident. She is smarted than most of the girls here. ''Does that concern you, Thalia?'' I asked. ''No, it doesn't and it will never be. If this unborn scandal spreads among the square then I have no other reasons than to join you in sodomy, Viscountess. I kind of see the enjoyment you have in sodomy.'' I smirked. ''Bold, Thalia. I'll gladly welcome you in the 'sodomic gate'.'' we both laughed. ''Thalia!'' The duchess ran towards Thalia, checking her body. ''Where have you been, Thalia?'' her father asked. Like they really care. ''Thalia, you missed the announcing of the diamond, which was expected to be me.'' Adelaide then bragged. ''Oh. Congratulations.'' Thalia simply answered. ''Congratulations being announced as the rarest this season, Lady Adelaide.'' I congratulated her. Never really liked her in the first place. ''You could have been the rarest this season too, Viscountess if you were not part of sodomy.'' The duchess said to me and faked a smile. I just gave her a grin when Thalia opened her mouth. ''Well, seems like sodomy gives much pleasure to each other than straight couples, Mama. Homosexuality is much fun than being straight.'' she said. ''Well, Thalia. Homosexuality is a sin in the bible.'' ''Well, Mama. If it's a sin in the bible then I must oblige with the demon. Let there be hell!'' she defended. I laughed. ''You really put your virus on my sister, Viscountess.'' Adelaide commended with her parents. ''As if you really care, Adelaide. You care nothing but your parents opinion about you, don't you?'' I asked. ''Well, my parents brought me to this world. And so are you.'' ''Well, my parents brought me to this world too, Lady Adelaide so I do not care other's opinion other than them. And also Thalia's opinion, she's way smarter than you. Excuse my presence, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Lady Adelaide...'' I lowered my head to them, not forgetting my smirk to them. ''...Lady Thalia.'' I said before leaving their circle. ''What happened next?'' Eugene asked after I told him my night with Lady Thalia. ''Of course I went straight to the sodomy club.'' The sun has set and the moon rises. ''They really did Thalia dirty, don't they.'' he said. ''There's a ball at the earldom of Earl John. The Colleymore's will be there.'' ''Well, I am prepared to go there now. I hope Thalia will see me as the poet and not as a King.'' ''You really liked her, don't you.'' ''Yeah. It's love at first sight for me.'' ''Wow, quick for you to admit that when you fell in love with her sister. You admitted it right away.'' ''I am sorry but it's also love at first sight.'' ''And you're in love with her for years now.'' ''It's not my fault. My heart said it.'' ''And you accepted.'' Eugene said and stood up from the bench. ''Aren't we hopelessly in love.'' I asked. ''Yes, we are.'' ''After we left there was quite a ruckus from the Queen Mother and the Duchess of Cambridge.'' Eugene said. ''Yeah, I heard from the maids. The Duchess of Cambridge is really fond of Adelaide when she should nurture the intelligence of Thalia.'' Thalia's Point of View of last night's ball ''They must be talking about us, Viscountess. Thinking that I am stained by your sodomy.'' I said as we entered the ball, all these people are whispering to themselves while looking at us. ''Does that concern you, Thalia?'' Viscountess Agatha asked. It does concern me a bit but the Viscountess is more than her sodomy addiction. ''No, it doesn't and it will never be. If this unborn scandal spreads among the square then I have no other reasons than to join you in sodomy, Viscountess. I kind of see the enjoyment you have in sodomy.'' Viscountess Agatha smirked. I think I satisfied her with my answer. ''Bold, Thalia. I'll gladly welcome you in the 'sodomic gate'.'' We both laughed, making these people confuse. ''Thalia!'' I saw mama ran towards me. She must've been worried for her pride as soon as she saw that the Viscountess is with me. ''Where have you been, Thalia?'' Papa ask liked he'd care. ''Thalia, you missed the announcing of the diamond, which was expected to be me.'' My sister, Adelaide, said. She's bragging. ''Oh. Congratulations.'' I simply answered. Congratulations on making both of our parents proud of you. ''Congratulations being announced as the rarest this season, Lady Adelaide.'' The Viscountess congratulated her. They've been friends since childhood. But I think doesn't like my sister that much. I can see her annoyance in my sister. ''You could have been the rarest this season too, Viscountess if you were not part of sodomy.'' Mama said and smirked. Those words hurt the Viscountess. I couldn't stand it so I decided to defend her. ''Well, seems like sodomy gives much pleasure to each other than straight couples, Mama. Homosexuality is much fun than being straight.'' I said. ''Well, Thalia. Homosexuality is a sin in the bible.'' ''Well, Mama. If it's a sin in the bible then I must oblige with the demon. Let there be hell!'' The Viscountess laughed. Papa coughed signalling me to stop. ''You really put your virus on my sister, Viscountess.'' Am I the Viscountess's friend? Or her? ''As if you really care, Adelaide. You care nothing but your parents opinion about you, don't you?'' The Viscountess asked. Well, it's true though. ''Well, my parents brought me to this world. And so are you.'' My sister said. ''Well, my parents brought me to this world too, Lady Adelaide so I do not care other's opinion other than them. And also Thalia's opinion, she's way smarter than you. Excuse my presence, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Lady Adelaide, Lady Thalia.'' The Viscountess left our circle. I am sure I will be greatly reprimanded as soon as we go home. ''Thalia. You agreed with that hermaphrodite?'' Adelaide said. ''Well, I'll gladly correct you sister as you are the rarest this season...'' I know people are looking at us. ''Hermaphrodite in biology an individual animal or flower that has both male and female reproductive organs. a person having both male and female s****l characteristics and genital tissues. The Viscountess Agatha is female in s****l characteristic, external and internal. It's her feelings that's bisexual. So you are a hundred percent wrong about calling her a hermaphrodite.'' Adelaide just shook her head in disbelief. ''I think that is enough teachings from you, Thalia.'' Mother said and pinched my elbows. ''Adelaide was just confuse with the words.'' Papa said when the Queen Mother walked to our circle. ''I may have called the wrong person for the stone. Thalia is smarter.'' ''But Adelaide is more talented.'' Mama said and hugged Adelaide, my sister just smiled. She's acting like she's the most favorable person in this ball. ''And yet, Thalia mastered the Violin at the age of four. While Adelaide here learned the basics of piano at the age of eight. Isn't ironic? The first woman to enter Harvard is Lady Thalia. I am proud of what a woman could do.'' the Queen Mother bragged. I saw Adelaide's embarrassment. ''Well, what could a woman do with her learnings. A woman's job is to learn music, get married, make children then die.'' Mama said. She's confronting the Queen Mother just to defend her precious child. ''Where is your respect for me, duchess? May I remind you that compared to me, you are nothing.'' the Queen Mother said and grabbed my hand. ''Lady Thalia shall entertain me this evening as her parents seemed to be fond of their eldest.'' The Queen Mother then whispered to my sister's ear. ''You are not suited for your title...'' then whispered to my mama. ''...and so are you, Duchess.'' I have no choice but to follow the Queen Mother. The Queen Mother escorted me home. ''Do not be afraid of your parents, Thalia. You are the rarest of the season. This must be a secret from the two of us.'' ''I will, Queen Mother.'' ''You are most welcomed in the palace if ever they hurt you. Let's have a tea together in three days time.'' The Queen Mother left. I am still dumbfounded of what had happened tonight, but I had no choice but to enter our home. ''YOU!!!'' Adelaide attacked me. ''YOU EMBARASSED ME TONIGHT! AS SO AS MAMA AND PAPA!'' she grabbed my hair. ''Ouch!!! Stop it Adelaide!!!'' ''Oh, I will not, Thalia!!!'' 'Papa then grabbed Adelaide away from me. ''What're you doing, Adelaide? Thalia?'' Mama asked as she descended the stairs.
