Eugene's Point of View
"Did Thalia really do that?" I asked Agatha as she shared what had happened in the dukedom of Cambridge.
"I did what you said and asked. The brandy should be at my hands tonight. Why are you so eager to hide your true identity to Lady Thalia?"
"Isn't it fun to fool someone and fall in love with them? You wouldn't understand as ou fell in love with someone younger than you. How many years is your gap again, Viscountess?" I asked, salting a certaing wound in her.
"Hope is not that young. We only have a twelve year gap."
"Now, aren't you a pedophile?"
"Shut your darn mouth, Eugene. Your more cruel than me. "
"No, I am not. I do not sleep with some women and pay them after."
"Well, I don't marry a woman becuse I feel pity for her."
Her words angered me.
"Do not disrespect the late Queen, Agatha."
"She was our friend, she fell in love with you and yet you didn't give it a thought. You were so eager to deny her feelings for you. You just married her out of pity. Now, I bet your conscience is eating it." she said.
I really want to punch this woman. Always on point on where it hurts the most.
True and dang, hurts.
"Cat bit your tongue, your highness."
Edward cut me out as I was to speak.
"Cutting a king's word is a serious offense, Duke Edward."
Viscountess Agatha reminded Edward.
"Disrespecting the late Queen is also an offense, Viscountess Agath."
"Not letting the King speak may come as a serious offense because of the two of you."
The two laughed and I quickly forgot about being mad towards the Viscountess.
"I heard Viscount Maxim will be attending the ball and yet I haven't seen the bastard's face."
I said as I remembered the letter Maxim sent me.
"Oh, I also heard Duke Louise and Viscount Archer will be participating the marriage market this season. How come the gang is looking for wives this season?"
Edward said that made us laugh.
"An orgy for the married aristocrats!"
Agatha then went for a toast.
"I believe it's time for us to show our faces to the crowd?"
I asked the two.
"I certainly believed that Lady Thalia is there and I shall return to you, your Higness if the Lady have gone home."
"Lady Thalia of Cambridge? Daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge?"
The duke asked.
"Yeah. Apparently, both the King and the Queen Mother have decided to pick the Lady to marry Eugene and be the next Queen of England. Isn't she a perfect Queen-to-be?"
Agatha said.
Edward seemed a bit spook.
"Are you okay, Edawrd? Are you planning to court Lady Thalia? That will be a big no-no, Edward. You shall destroy my plan."
"Marrying a woman is not supposedly be a 'plan', Your Highness. But, you shall not fear. I will court the diamond of the first water, Lady Adelaide."
"Really? Then the Queen Mother shall host your wedding. You two will be a perfect love match!" I said. "Go fort! I shall enjoy the company of the mosquitos here."
"Enjoy your evening, King Eugene."
The two left me in th courtyard as I took a sip of the wine in my hand.
"Why are you close with The Viscountess Agatha and The Duke Edward, Sir Eugene?"
The voice I longed to hear tonight spooked me.
"Lady Thalia!"
Did she hear everything we talked?
"Do not worry. I did not hear a single word, I just saw the two aristocrats talking to you." Thalia said and sat beside me.
"Lady Thalia, I am very close to the two as they were once my inspiration to my poems. Born to be a Duke and a Viscountess, inherited the ranking from their powerful fathers. I believe it's called 'Gold Spoon'.
It was not a lie at all that I took Edward and Agatha's story in my poems years ago, when I was still a novice.
"Then they must now Sir Geunee!"
"I believe they do not know the poet." I immediately said.
"Why wouldn't they?" Thalia asked, her eyes meatting mine.
"I believe I am more capable than Sir Geunee, Lady Thalia, is just that Sir Geunee uses simple words for readers to understand it complete."
"Why are you getting all worked up? I am very sorry if I have raised my voice. I do not care what's your business with the duke..."
Thalia cutted herself and took my glass, sipping the drink out of it.
"...and the viscountess. But I will not let you tarnish Sir Geunee's reputation by the likes of you sir." Thalia said and stood up.
"Quite the respect you got for that man, milady. I do hope he lives up to your dreams when you met the man."
"I shall head back to the ball. I might be engaged with you this very moment if someone should discover us here."
"Will that be a problem for you, Lady Thalia?"
I asked.
"Yes, it will. I, the second daughter of the Duke of Cambridge, be engaged with you, a poet. I cannot live my life with a mere poet."
"You think rankings in importat when loving someone?" I asked again.
I wanted to know how Thalia looks to the world, her opinion in romance and love.
Her favorite books, poems and quills. I want to know more about her. Even deeper than what I've read in the newspappers.
"I never have experienced love though. My opinion on that matter is based on what I have read in the books. Certainly, poets like you and authors of fantasy books have understood how and what love is? Or basically, they just create a brand new identity for love. I think some authors do it."
Thalia sat beside me again.
"I think you might be in love with, Lady Thalia. Seeing you stand and your attemot to walk away from me then I opened a new topic, you sat beside me again."
She looked at me.
"I think you are the one being fond of me, Sir Eugene, seeing as how you 'coincidentally' find your way to m, today and yesterday. Now, when I arrived minutes ago, your stick is hard."
'Your stick is hard...'
I then felt embarassed as she said the words.
"L-Lady Tha-Thalia. you shouldn' say those words!"
I stood up, turned away out of embarassment.
"Is my words that vulgar? Don't you like women who are sraight and not filtered?" she asked.
I saw Thalia's shadow in my peripheral view, I also heard of her footsteps.
"Do not come near me, Thalia. My erection have not subsided yet. Please, sit."
Her arms wrapped in my hips, making a very different sensation of touch, it made me more hard.
"L-Lady Thalia. This is very inappropriate. Please take a seat and let us wait for this erection of mine to subside."
"Mmmm...I thought this is okay as long as we will not be seen, Your Highness."
Her fingers reached my pants and eventually unzipped it.
"You knew?" I asked about how she knew that I am the KIng.
"Oh. You think I am dumb enough to not know about yur scheme? I also knew that you are Sir Geunee. What a man."
Her hands explored what's deep in my pants, she held my c**k.
Her touch sent thousands of electricity in my body, the feeling is very new. Thalia's hands is warm, I like it.
"Oh, now this is what a c**k looks like."
Thalia played with my c**k.
'f**k. I never knew she could make me feel this way.' I said to myself.
"L-Lady T-Thalia...ughhh....t-th-this is very in-....ughh...T-Th-Thalia....."
I kept on groaning but Thalia didn't listen.
...
Just when I am aout to release, there was a knock at the door.
I woke up. My pajamas are wet.
'You're already in your 30's, idiot.'
My brain said to me.
"Who is it?" I asked. Turns out everything was just a dream, though the first part really happened last night.
"It is me, Your Highness. The one you hired to guard Lady Thalia."
I opened the door.
"You have disturbed my sleep, Sir Kurt. I must say that this scoop of yours will be good."
"Oh, it'll make your blood boil, your highness."
Curious and interested, I let him talk.
"Poet Leone Windisch, your greatest rival in the world of poems, has arrived in town to look for a wife. He chose Lady Thalia as the one who caught his attention. They've met last night after the small talk you had with her."
He said. It really made my blood boil.
"That Leone...Prepare my carriage at once, I shall court Lady Thalia, officially."
"No. You will let Lady Thalia hae som fun, Eugene."
Mama entered my room.
"What?"
"It shall be a very shocking news, your proposal with Lady Thalia. Let the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge that Lady Thalia will marry with a mere poet and lost sight for her, as they will regret it in a few months."
The Queen Mother said.
"But, mama! What if Lady Thalia falls in love with Leone? I cannot tie another woman for marriage with me!" I said.
"You are not a baby anymore, Eugene. i assure you, she will not. Egoistic men, especially someone who is very mad at Sir Geunee, the poet, will not make it pass the lady's caged heart. I must go now, I have a small tea party with Lady Adelaide, I shall hope Duke Edward there as he is officially courting the obnoxious woman."
The Queen Mother then left.
"I shall watch how things will end on your hands, Leone."
"The Viscountess have arrived, Your Highness. She is accompanied by the Marchioness. The Queen Mother have greeted them."
"Isn't the Lady Adelaide there?" I asked.
"The lady is still at the Kingdom's premises. Viscountess Agatha wanted to see you, Your Highness."
"I shall take my bath. Prepare the dining for our visitors."
