Chapter three : Because she is pretty and make the best chocolate chip cookies.

As  I was talking to my little brother Luke, he was saying how the cookies taste so good even all of my  brothers agreed on that but when I turned to face her direction I heard her telling her mom that she will be back in any second . I assume that she was going home to drop the basket that had all of the cookies I noticed while she was leaving I could see that she was giggling . I then went over to her brother to talk with him. I asked him if the cookies really taste good he told me that the cookies my sister make are the cookies you want to eat everyday . He then asked me what kind of cookies did I get I told him cinnamon . He looked at me amazed . I took one bite and I can taste a bit of spiciness then I told myself cinnamon cookies aren't supposed to be spicy . I then asked her brother what she would put in it he told me all of the ingredients but none of them had anything spicy in it .  I asked him how come  the cookie were spicy he then took one and smelled it then he said, 

" she used wasabi ." I wondered why she would do that .

I knew that he could sense that I didn't understand why she did that . I was trying to figure out why. he tapped and had me come closer like if he was tell me a secret ,

 " either you did something to make her angry or she just doesn't like you at all".  But he didn't say it for only me to hear , I knew that all of my brothers could hear what he had said.

After a few minutes I heard the door opened and I saw her walked in , she didn't even make eye contact with me she just went straight to her mom and my mom . They were talking about something that I didn't know about and I was kind of trying to ask her why she put the wasabi in my cookies and not in the rest of my brothers , I then think back at what had happen the other day and I then realized why she did that .

while she was sitting and talking to my mom I saw my youngest  brother Luke ran towards her . I went to sit near to mom to listen on what she was telling my brother . And also I want to find out if she was nice or not.

Jane pov

I saw a short curly red head boy wearing a spider man onesie running towards me .

He then shouted , "Janeeeeeeeeeeeeee"

I  replied , " yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh" .

Then I noticed my mom and his mom started to giggle , I lifted him and placed him on my lap after he was on my lap I saw the same guy I was irritated with came in front of me . And from the look of him I could tell that he just had a shower because his jet black hair was moist. Maybe he had the shower  when I left earlier ,then I noticed he was wearing a white t-shirt that hugged his body showing all of his muscles , he also wore some black sweat pants . That's when I noticed he went and sit beside his mom .

I brought back my attention to Luke I said , " what's up Spiderman " .

 " nothing really but I like that name" , Luke giggled and ran over to Scott .

He then told scott , " Jane gave me a nickname and I love it"

" oh really can I call you that" , he asked him.

he shouted, "no , only jane can call me that"

Scott asked , " why".

Luke said " because she is pretty and can make the best chocolate chip cookies"

we all started laughing . Karen said , " I taught your mom baked them"

" my mom doesn't like to bake", I told her not making it sound too unpolite.

The only time in the world I don't like my mom is  when she makes me do all the baking because she says that she doesn't like to have flour on her.

Karen asked me , " why"

I told her , " she is horrible at it".

we all started laughing again .Then Luke left and ran up stairs . 

" you can bake well I am sure you can cook anything" , Karen asked me waiting for me answer her . 

The moment she said that I was tensed at what she just asked me. Then I saw my mom and brother giggling . Karen looking at them trying to figure out what they are laughing about.

Out of all the things I am not good at; cooking is my top one I am worst at it  . No matter how many times I practiced I am just not good at all , I even follow the recipes.

My brother finally spoke , " you may think my sister can cook because she can bake well but do you know she suck at cooking" .

Everyone who were listening started to laugh. He was about to talk about one of my cooking experiences.

when  mom said, " you know if you talked about her cooking experiences she will kill you" .

Jack said , " I am her brother she loves me she won't beat me up like how she beats marcel and Cody".

" you want to bet on that", I told him trying to sound angry.

we all started to laugh and Luke came running downstairs with something in his hand . Then I noticed there were some building blocks .

Luke said, " Jane do you want to play with me" .

Then my mom said , " I am sorry Luke but its getting dark and we have to go home".

When I looked at Luke I could see he was disappointed. I knelt down to be at his height and said ,

" hey Spiderman how about we play a bit and I can go home" .

He was so excited and he went to tell his mom and the rest of his brothers .

" it's ok", I reassured her that I won't come home late.

she then left telling me to be careful which was kind of weird of her saying that. She made Jack stayed too . Thankfully he wasn't bored he immediately made friends with Stephen . Stephen looked similar to Scott . The only thing different from him was his hair he had a mix of red and black hair. They began talking about girls and stuff .

Luke ran towards me grabbing my hands and pulling me upstairs to play with him. I had barely been able to tell Mrs. Sullivan that I would be playing with Luke . When we reached the top I could see everything . There were three paths which was designed beautifully with ancient decorations . At each paths there were five rooms each.

Luke pulled me towards the left path and then we stopped at the second room down that path as we entered . I noticed that it was Luke room because it had a lot of Spiderman decorations  in that room which had included , figurines , curtains , bed coverings and also the wallpaper of his room were the characters of spider man .

We both sat down on the floor playing together playing .

Then I heard Luke shouted , "Scott".

Scott said, " you are having fun ".

He was leaning on the door with a tray in his hands. There some drinks in the tray . When I looked at him there was something in my mind saying "he is so so hot".

I tried to make those taught disappear that when he offer me something to drink and I told him no thanks. I then turned to Luke to tell him that I will be going .

As I was about to get up Luke held my hands  and asked me," can you come over tomorrow".

"umm", i was thinking whether i should come or not.

" please ! please!", he was begging and making pouting face too at that time.

I just couldn't say no  so i agreed ," sure why not"

 When I walked pass Scott I could feel  he was looking at me but I didn't turn back to face him . I walked quickly down the stairs wondering why he was staring at me . I went to find Mrs. Sullivan and to tell her I was going . When I entered the living room I saw my brother and Stephen talking . As I was going to the door he said ,

" hey sis come over here" .

I slowly walked over to where he was I sat down at the side of him and asked ,

" what's up bro" .

Stephen and him say in unionism , " we are bored" .

I answered , " so . What am I to do about it" .

Stephen said , " I don't know .

But we have an old video game that Jack and I found in the attic and it requires three people".

" and" , I answered them knowing where this is going.

 " do you think you can ask one of my brothers" Stephen asked me almost pleading .

Not exactly where I thought it was going .

I answered , " I don't know them enough to ask them that" .

He said , " well can you play with us . It will be easier to beat you since you are a girl" .

I told Jack , " did he just say what I think he said".

Jack said , " ah ha".

Jack whispered , " dude you shouldn't have said that".

He was confused at what jack had said . And then he says lets get ready .

I made myself comfortable in between these too guys ,then collected a remote controller and wait for them to get ready .Just before he pressed play he said ,

" well Janey you are about to be beaten".

Did he just called me Janey nobody calls me Janey . I was brought back to reality when he pressed play it started a count down 3,2,1, fight. As we started the game in an instant I had beaten the both of them. When I looked at stephen I could see he got a little bit angry because he lost . He then said another game.

When it was the last game I won again and shouted ,

" 49 wins for jane and 1 win for stephen and 0 wins for jack" .

I started behaving like a child when I heard some persons laughing then I turned around to see the whole family there .That's when I hear Jack say ,

" I told you she would beat you she always does, she is unstoppable. If you didn't say all those stuff about her being a girl and so fort or either called her Janey you would have won".

"oh s**t", Stephen shouted.

Jack said , " bro I forget to tell you one simple tiny detail", Jack whisper loud enough for everyone in the Livingroom to hear.

" what", Stephen shouted.

" once you play a game with my sister and you lose you receive a punishment", jack told him as reassuring as possible.

When I looked at Stephen he looked as if all the energy from him was drawn out because of the word punishment .

So I said , " I won't make the punishment hard for you too " .

He still didn't feel the need of doing any punishment .Then I decided to try again because doing these things are fun .

" how about you give me $50 in exchange for no punishment", I suggested so that he would do it .

"ok", he sounded as if he was getting there and finally doing it.

He quickly went in his pocket and took out $50 and hand it to me.

I took it and then pulled out my wallet from my bag and put it in .

" woah that is a lot of money", i heard some one say over the counter .

when i turned around i saw that it was Austin he was in all black .

" Jane", i heard jack called me quietly.

" yes", i answered knowing where this is going.

" how many money do you have" jack asked moving in closer to me .

" about $1000 " , i answered him knowing exactly what he wants.

" where did you get it ", he asked thinking whether it is mom's money or mine.

" i won it " i said getting a little irritated.  

" so you are gambaling at casinos now", he said getting all worried.

" no you seaweed for a brain brother. i won it .it is two weeks of games from marcel and cody", i said getting all agitated.

" oh " he sounded relief.

" do can i get fifty" he looked at me streching his hands infront of me.

" oh no ", i said as iw as putting my wallet back in my bag .

"why", he started with his whinning.

At that moment i got an idea.

" how about this if you wear something pink and go to school i will give you $ 100", giving him a deal he cant refuse.

" ok ", he agreed .

That was fast i didn't think he would agreeded so fast .

It was then that i realise it was getting late so i decided to go tell Mrs. Sullivan that i am leaving. 

"Hey Jack do you want to stay some more", I asked while going towards Mr. Sullivan.

He nodded me a yes. I then told him to not stay too late . I went to Mrs. sullivan to tell her I am leaving . I said all my goodbyes and opened the door to walk home then I decided to take a walk because it wasn't night as yet.

I pulled out my headphones and pluged it in my phone .Just as I was about to switch on the music I heard someone yelled my name but I didn't answer because I knew it was Scott. As I walked on the side walk humming to my favorite song smile by Avril lavigne. And out of no where I started to sing

As I was about to say the next line Scott jumped in front of me causing me to jumped , he had just scared the hell out of me.That was when my tongue sliped again infront of him saying , " what the f**k dude".

I watched Jane the entire day , I know she knew I was looking at her. I started looking at her from the time she gave Luke the cookies. I even followed her in the living room where she was talking to my mom . I saw her place Luke on her lap I taught to myself she is actually good with kids she is even better than me . When they were about to leave I was sad to see her go. When she got up Luke grabbed on her leg to stop her and asked her to play with him.

She immediately gave up and said she will play with him. He pulled her upstairs to his room to play. As I was about to leave to follow them , mom pulled me back and said ,

" oh no you don't . you are going to help me prepare some refreshments for them".

I was about to complain when she pulled me in the kitchen. I yelled ,

"mommmm".

She told me if I could go and check and see if Jane and Luke were doing ok . I walked up the stairs quietly and took a peep in the room. I heard she asked ,

"Luke what do you want to make".

Luke said, " can we make a dragon" .

"ok", she answered in the cheerful voice those kinder garden teachers talk to children with".

They were having so much fun together from what I notice about her is she is so confusing and I can't just figure her out she is so different from the time I met her yesterday to now to she is just a mysterious girl who I just want to figure out.

I walked down the stairs to go back to the kitchen to meet mom making some of her homemade apple juice. I went and informed mom about what they were doing I told her everything that they were doing. She placed three glasses of apple juice on the tray and told me to go and give it to them.

I went up the stairs again and as I made my self visible for them to see me , but they didn't notice. I leaned on the door waiting to be acknowledge by them . When I looked over at them to see what they were making I saw something that looked like a dragon there was one more block to put to complete the dragon. As she placed it to complete the dragon , luke yelled after seeing me making her jumped with shock and turned behind her .

When I offered her the drink she refused it and left the room telling luke that she will be leaving and went down stairs. I watched Luke as he was picking up the dragon and placing it on the night stand near his bed . I went over to him .

" hey mouse did you have fun" , I asked silently.

"Jane is awesome and fun and also pretty. She said that she will make more cookies for me " , he said excitedly.

" oh really . So you and jane are friends now" , I asked wanted to know everything they talked about.

" I like Jane I want you too to marry so that I can play with her every day", he said. I started to laugh so loud that my stomach was hurting and I nearly cried.

After a few minutes I heard some noices coming from downstairs I realise it was stephen and two other persons . I couldn't figure out their voices because of stephen loud voice. I picked up Luke and placed him over my shoulders and ran downstairs .When I reached downstairs I found the whole family in the living room looking at a game that stephen and two other persons were playing . I let luke down and went closer I saw my brother with Jane and her brother playing video game .

It was fun watching them . At the end of the game when Jane shouted how many game she won I saw a childish side of her . I heard her brother say something about a punishment after he said that I looked at stephen who looked so drained. He wasn't going to do any of punishments so she decided that he would give her $50 in exchange for a punishment. To no avail h eactually give her the money . which was a suprise to everyone since he is stingy .

As I was going to talk to her and clear all of our misunderstandings ,she told my mom that she would be leaving. When she left I followed her outside and didn't see her so I yelled for her but she didn't answer me. I knew that she heard me but ignored me.

I decided to follow her and that is when I heard her singing a song that I didn't hear in years, her voice was so amazing singing the rock song. I was about to call her but I know she will ignore me so I decided to jump infront of her.

After I jumped in front of her, she was so frightened that she said , " what the f**k dude". When I looked at her facial expression I noticed that she was shocked at what she had just said.
