The images of tall establishments and buildings along the streets in Tokyo filled my eyes as Takuma’s car passed by them at a moderate speed. Takuma and I were already on our way to my apartment to commence our first plan.
As we initially planned, Takuma would check my room if he could find some clues there regarding the man who attacked me. He told me that we should not disregard what Nanami said about her seeing someone entered the house while I was gone. He was thinking that person might be the one who attacked me.
“Annika,” Takuma called, which made me turned at him while he was keeping his eyes on the road. His hand reached a paper bag that was on the center console of the car between us and handed it to me. “I forgot to give you this.” He said.
