Damaged Soul

I was woken up by tiny hands and small kisses on my face. I smiled at my baby but still didn’t open my eyes. Mariana: Ommy wake up peas. Riana is hungry. I opened my eyes and looks at my baby girl. Me: ohh is it so. She nodded her head looking so innocent like an angel. My angel. Me: Did Riana brush her teeth and wash her face? Mariana: Yesh Ommy. Me: Very good my little angel. Now let ommy go to brush her teeth and wash her face. Then we can go and make Riana her breakfast. Mariana: Okay Ommy. I went to the bathroom and did my business and then went to the kitchen to make my angel her breakfast. Me: Okay angel what would you like to eat today? Mariana: OAK MEAL. She said throwing her hands in the air. I laughed at her. Me: Okay angel. I made her her oak meal then I went to clean her room. When I was done I took out an outfit she will be wearing today. I haven’t told her yet but we are going to the park. She loves going to the park but I hardly get a chance to take her because well I don’t want any of the people I work with knowing that I have a child and also I don’t want my father to find out where I am. So the only time I leave the apartment is at night when I go to work and that’s that. My father is one of the richest men in our country. He has businesses all over the world. My mother well she died when I was 8. I went to the orphanage for a while then my father came and took me in. I wouldn’t call what he did for me a favor or a chance at a better life because from the moment I stepped in that house my life became a living hell. My father’s wife Sakshi Carter made my life a living hell. She told me each and every day that I wasn’t her child and my mother was her husband’s mistress. She told me that I am her husband’s bustard child. Growing up I had never had a moment of peace because she had even taught her kids (Levi and Sammy) that I am not their sibling. They mistreated me at school and at home. At school it was worse because they called me names and hit me in front of their friends. And when I told my father all he would say was “So, What do you expect me to do?”. This went on for a couple of years. When I was 19 I was gang r***d. I remember it like it was yesterday. It was my birthday and my step-mother was nice to me for the first time since I walked in that house when I was 8. She told me that I should go out and enjoy my birthday, she even gave me money. I was very happy so I went out and had fun all by myself. Later when it was time to go home I tried to call a cab but my phone was off. I waited at the bus stop for about an hour but no bus came so I decided that I would walk home. I wasn’t worried about walking because our neighborhood was the safest in the city. When I was walking by the park a group of guys came towards me. They surrounded me. Me: Who are you guys and what do you want from me? I couldn’t see their faces because they were covering them. Guy 1: Hello beautiful what are you doing here so late at night? Guy 2: and alone? Me: I am just going home. I tried walking away but the other two guys stopped me. There were five guys. Me: What are you doing? Let me pass please. Guy 1: ohh I am hurt you wanna leave? Me: Yes. Guy 2: but we wanna have fun with you. The other two guys who stopped me just laughed. The other guy still didn’t say nothing. I tried to run but the quiet guy stopped me. The quiet guy finally said. Guy: A dònde crees que vas? Me: Huh? Guy: Where do you think you’re going? We haven’t started playing yet. He ripped off my shirt. Then the others followed. That day I was r***d and what hurts me the most is the fact that I can still remember the quiet guys eyes when he was on top of me. They were green. I don’t know what I will tell my daughter when she starts asking me about her father. That night I went home and there was no one at home I went to my room got in the shower and scrubbed my body. The next day Levi came to my room. Which was new to me. He hardly even talked to me before date. He came in and asked me how I was, I couldn’t tell him what had happened to me the day before so I lied and said I was okay. Few weeks after he noticed that I was jumpy all the time so he sat me down and asked me what had really happened. I told him what happened to me. He left me there without saying anything. The next day he came to my room very early in the morning and told me to get dressed. I did as I was told and I followed him. He had booked me a plane ticket. Me: What is this Levi? Levi: It is a plane ticket to Mexico. When you get there take a bus to Bacalar it is close to the boarder of Belize. (He gave me my passport). Go to Belize I have an apartment there. ( he gave me a black card) I have transferred about 10 Million in this card. And whatever you do Heavenly stay away from social media because dad will find you and we do not want that. Me: (Crying) WHAT IS GOING ON LEVI? Levi: I don’t think you are safe here Heavenly. I think my mom or our dad had something to do with what happened to you. Look I am sorry for everything I did to you while we were growing up but I am mature now and I know I was wrong. I want you to be happy and safe. Now go your plane is about to leave. Me: thank you Levi. He hugged me and then I got off the car and ran into the airport. That was the last time I talked with Levi. Six months later I found out that I was pregnant. Mariana: Ommy why are you crying? Me: ohh it’s nothing angel. Guess what? Mariana: WE ARE GOING TO THE PARK. Me: YES. Now let’s get you ready. When I was done getting her ready I went to get ready myself. We went to the park and we played together for about five hours. Mariana got tired so we went back home. Me: Angel Ommy is going out again tonight. Be a good girl for Ommy and go to sleep because when you wake up Ommy will be back Okay. Mariana: okay Ommy. Me: If you’re hungry Ommy has left you your food by your bed side and your bottle of water and your snacks. Mariana: Okay. Thank you Ommy. I went to my room to get dresses in my black leader costume. I call it costume because I practically wear this each and every night. When I Mariana was born I was determined to find the men who r***d me so I joined the Black Leader Gang. I am the only girl in the Gang. I locked my baby in the house then I walked to the garage and got on my Black Scooter and rode off to the Black Leader Gang headquarters. When I got there Mason our boss was already waiting for me. Me: Hello Mason. Mason: Karma. My Gang name is Karma. Me: where are they? Mason: there here. Karma I am the boss around here but you act like you’re the boss. Me: Mason I don’t really have the time to stand here and nurse you’re insecurities I have men to kill now if you would excuse me. Mason: Karma do you ever laugh. It was a joke. Me: in this kind of business jokes, laughter and happiness gets you killed. Now stop wasting my time show me where you put those bustards. Mason just smiled at me and lead the way. Mason: why don’t you just agree and marry me Karma. You too know that we are meant for each other. Me: We both know mason that we are not compatible Mason and you are really not my type. Mason: Then who’s you’re type? Me: you’re Mama. He just laughed and opened the door. I saw two men tied on a chair. I walked in they both looked at me. Me: Take off that cloth form their mouths and excuse us. Mason did that then he left. Guy 1: Who are you? What do you want with us? Me: First off nobody is going to talk until I allow them to talk. All ya’ll are going to do is listening and answering. Is that okay? They nod their heads Me: Good now what are your names? Guy 1: my name is Sebastian Martins Guy 2: My name is Phil Mason Me: This next question is the one that is going to clarify to me if you both wanna live or die. Do you know anybody by the name of Simon Carter or Sakshi Carter? Sebastian: Yes Me: have they hired you before to do a job for them? Phil: No Sebastian looked at him and right then I knew that Phil was lying. Me: Phil, Phil, Phil. Don’t get on my f*****g nerves. Tell me the truth. Sebastian: Yes, Yes Sakshi Carter did hire us before. Me: She hired you to do what? Sebastian: she hired us to…. Phil: Shut the f**k up Sebastian. I punched Phil on the face. Me: MASON. The door opened and Mason came in. Me: Brig me the truth syrup. Mason went out and came back with it and he came with my tool box too. I just nodded at him as he went out. Me: Do you know who I am? They shook their heads. Me: My name is Karma. Their eyes popped out. I took the truth syrup and injected both of them. Then I took a chair and sat down in front of them. I opened my tool box and took out a hammer. Me: Listen to me boys. The truth syrup will definitely make you tell me the truth. I looked at my beautifully decorated hammer. Me: And the hammer. Well it’s just for fun. After all we must play right. Now tell me what did Sakshi Carter hire you to do? Phil: She hired us to r**e her step-daughter. I took off their shoes. Me: ohh really? Sebastian: Yes. And she paid us very good for that job. I hit their big toes with my hammer. They screamed. Me: So I want you guys to tell me the names of the other guys you were with. Phil: it was me, Sebastian, Liam Williams, Oliver James and our boss Santiago Lopez. I hit their second toe nails with my Hammer. Me: MASON. He came back in. Me: I Need you to tell the boys to find me Liam Williams, Oliver James and Santiago Lopez. I want them here in two days. Mason: okay. Karma when you’re done come to my office we need to talk. I just nodded and he left. Me: Good job boys. I went to my tool box again and too out a syrup that makes the truth syrup wear off quick. It’s going to take only about five minutes. I took out a nail gun. Me: Who are your mothers? Phil: I won’t f*****g tell you who my mother is. Me: Very good the truth syrup has worn off. By the way thank you boys for your corporation. Now when you get to hell save a seat for me okay. I shot them with the gun nail on their foreheads. Then I went out. Me: Boys clean up the room. Make sure my tool box and tools are sanitized and send those bodies to their families I will write the messages. I walked to Mason’s office. I just opened the door and sat down. Mason: Ohh my dear Karma. What happened to you and knocking. Me: Mason you asked me to come here. Don’t waste my time. Mason: ohh my dear Karma you know from the first time I saw you I knew you were special. You’re anger and pain didn’t weaken you. Instead they made you stronger. Me: Just get to the point Mason. Mason: Patience Karma, I am getting there. What I am trying to tell you is that I am retiring. Me: What? Mason you can’t do that. Who’s going to take charge of the Gang now? Mason: You are. Me: WHAT? Mason: You are the boss now. I am choosing you as my heir. Me: But Mason this is crazy. Mason: Heavenly I am 56 years old. I don’t have a child of my own because my wife had an accident that left her barren. So I am choosing you as my heir. I have talked to my wife about this and we both agree that you are the best candidate Me: (Shocked) How do you know my name Mason? Mason: (smiling) Heavenly ever since you got here I knew there was more to you than meets the eye. So I made my own investigation. I know who you are and I know about your daughter and about what happened to you. I just looked at him shocked. Mason: ohh Heavenly don’t be like that. Listen my wife wants you and your daughter to move in with us. Our house is way more safer than your apartment. I just stared at him without saying anything. Mason: Come with me Heavenly we are going to announce my retirement and your promotion. He walked out and left me there. Few moments later I collected myself and walked out too. I found him in the Hall. The Black Leader Headquarters is very big. All the boys were already there. The gang has about 40 000 men all around the world and new recruits every day. Here we have 10 000 men and like I have stated before I am the only female here. Mason: My fellow Black Leather’s I am here to announce my retirement. The men all murmured and clearly they as worried as I was when he told me. Mason: but it is with great pleasure that I introduce to you you’re new boss, my heir and my daughter Karma. I looked at Mason shocked. He didn’t say anything about me being his daughter. I masked that shock quick and walked up to Mason and stood next to him. The men all cheered at me. Me: I promise to lead this gang to greatness and we will remain one of the most feared gang’s in the world. The men cheered louder. After that little coronation the men went back to work. Mason and I walked out the Building. Mason: follow me to my house. Me: Nope can’t do that Mason. Have to go home. Mason: ( smiling) But we are going home Heavenly. I told the men to go to your house and take all your belongings and they went there with Margret (his wife). Me: Ohh Mason. Lead the way. I wanna see my daughter. He drove off and I followed him. His house was a Castle. Me: Mason what the hell are you doing living in a Castle? Mason: I guess just like you I have some deep secrets huh. I am the king of this Small County. Me: WHAT? He left me there and walked in. I followed him. He went to a very big room. When we got in I saw my daughter playing with Margret. She saw me ans came to me running. Mariana: OMMY. I smiled at her and kissed her all over her face. She laughed. Mariana: stop it ommy. I stopped and gave her one last kiss on her forehead. Mason: (Smiling) ohh She smiles and she can laugh too. I just rolled my eyes at him. Mariana: Ommy grandma said that we will be living here with her and grandpa. And I will be a princess. I looked at both Mason and Margret shocked. Margret stood up from the ground and walked towards Mason and stood next to him. They both held their hands together. Mason: I didn’t wanna bring this up at the Gang house but Margret and I have been talking and we wanted to hear from you if… Margret: come on Mason tell her please. Mason: we wanted to know if you could be our daughter. Me: Huh? Margret: we want to adopt you Heavenly. We want you to be our daughter. We want you to be Heavenly Pèrez. The future queen of the Belize Kingdom. Me: WHAT? Angel go and play with your toys. I put Mariana down. And she ran to play. Margret: Please say yes Heavenly. Me: This is crazy. Being your daughter will mean being in the media. I can’t do that. My father will find me. Levi told me to stay away from the media. Mason: We can deal with your family Heavenly. Margret: NO! Mason as far as I know she doesn’t have a family. That family used her for her mother’s insurance money and when it was over they tried to destroy her. Me: huh! What are you talking about? Mason: Margret! Margret: No Mason it’s the truth and she needs to hear it. Dear that 10 million that you were given it was just part of your mother’s insurance. That boy Levi felt bad when he found out so he gave you the rest of the money that was left. It was actually 100 million. Me: WHAT?
