CHAPTER 4

Zephyr POV

I had cried all night in the prison where I slept. My step mum urged my dad to lock me up or risk seeing me the next day.

And she was right. I would have left the pack if I was allowed to stay in my room and run away from this madness.

But for the sake of my mum, dad shouldn’t have sold me out.

I am his daughter and deserved to be treated as a princess.

A few minutes passed and I was led out of the prison by some guards and headed to the main house.

I entered to find my bag already packed and some of my belongings arranged in the living room.

The Lycan elders were already waiting.

The guards freed the shackles from my hands and for a second I was free.

“Come here Zephyr" my dad signaled, his eyes filled with regret.

I hated him right now but I just needed his words.

I walked to where he was and embraced him tightly. I can't remember the very last time I embraced my dad.

“Be of good behaviour so you wouldn’t get killed at least” he said and soothed my hair.

" And don’t worry about the throne Zephyr, Maddy here is going to take care of it."

I froze in his arms. At this my point of agony he was here to remind me of Maddy. I knew the embrace wasn’t for something good.

I sighed heavily and disentangled from his arms.

My step mum approached me, taking me in an embrace.

“Am glad you will be finally eaten up by those Lycan beasts" she whisphered,raking her fingers in my sore back.

“Ouch" I winced.

“Am so sorry Zeph, I want to feel you more before you leave." She sobbed, seeing that the attention of the elders were now already on us.

“I will miss you so much Zeph." Maddy pouted, and came to hold my hands.

“You are such a loser. First I stole your father, second the throne and now your boyfriend." She cursed in my ears.

" I'm pregnant with Ryan’s pup, Zeph” she said and cradled her tummy.

" Pregnant with Ryan's pup?” I whispered, my mouth tasted strange as I spoke those words.

" It's time we leave,” one of them said.

" I hate you Zephyr. See you in hell!” She backed out.

No, I can’t let these people take me away like this. Maddy, her mum and my father need to pay.

I stared at the backdoor and turned to sprint towards it. But a hand gripped me from behind.

My step mum grinned.

“We knew you would try escaping and that is why We mindlinked the guards to watch you closely.”

The guards held me down and I kicked at them, struggling to free myself.

“Take her!" My dad said with his eyes almost closed. And turned his back to avoid looking at me.

“No, please!" I screamed, kicking wildly as the guards dragged me to the waiting SUV.

“Maddy please tell dad not to let them take me away” I pleaded. And she twisted her mouth into a mischievous grin.

I wasn’t pleading because I enjoyed being with them. I wanted to stay to get revenge on my dad, Maddy and her mum too.

But it seems fate had other cruel plans. And they were all going to get away with their evil deeds.

The car door slammed shut. And I hoped for the worst.

Aiden POV

I tightened my grip on my upper arm from where the pains were coming from.

Fuck! Can’t the curse be averted by the moon goddess. I staggered towards the table and reached for the substance but the bottle was empty.

“Arrghhh" I winced in deep pain and rang the alarm.

My door creaked open and a plus sized girl appeared. She was half naked with just her panties and half cut bra that revealed how big her breast was.

She stood staring at me and licking her lips.
