PROLOGUE Three years ago Lilian Ngosi a Zimbabwean girl who grew up in South Africa with her parents visited Zimbabwe and decided to stay there . She never found it hard to start afresh but her decision is still haunting her till now . A Bible was something she heard from afar but right now it's her only hope . Sit back and enjoy as she find her victory Zaka ,Masvingo She tried on her new schools uniform and couldn't help but hate the way it looked and how long it was as a girl born in SA and used to lifestyle there everything in Zimbabwean just seemed weird and poor . Everything is not going good like I thought it would, she thought to herself and yes everything to her seemed like a disaster ,, her school shoes were too big the uniform was too long and one had to order the school's spoght she's rts attire from afar and it took too long to arrive . I just hope I get a good welcome and nice friends she thought to herself .2026-03-162026-03-16 Morning arrived and Lillian was so happy she woke very early but to her surprise people took a shower in a toilet using a bucket with cold water just when she thought her day wouldn't get any worse her school lunch almost made her cry she was used to fried chicken burgers cakes and all nice foods but here she had to pack a drink with two packets of chips that looked cheap in her eyes. St George High During school lessons she couldn't help but look at every learner in the class she felt out of place and big not because the kids looked rich but because they looked the opposite of rich she was literally the only one with hair the only girl with a nice bag everything about her screamed hot and rich even her smell itself covered the whole class which made her happy because when she got it she almost puked . The learners are so skinny and the school is giving poor vibes , Lilian thought with a disgusted frown on her face . During break time she was shocked to see her new friends food they all had leftovers from last night's dinner she just prayed that her reaction doesn't show how disgusted she was . Finally afterschool arrived she rushed back home and found her aunt sitting comfortably on the one sofa they had in the house . Her aunt was a teacher at that school and during the time she was on leave so she wasn't going to stay with her for long . Lilian didn't talk much to the learners at the school so they thought she's a very quiet girl which is not why she was t the talking, she was judging everyone using her mind so she didn't need to talk. Later that night she couldn't sleep because of how her aunt was snoring she was screaming her lungs out through the inside because the sounds were just annoying. She kept thinking about how she would be in South Africa the cool friends she would have made the nice smell of the classrooms rich teachers with cars and to think of she never saw a teacher with a car at her new school . "Ugh why is she snoring louder can't she just shut up " she whispered with an annoyed voice . Luckily she managed to fall asleep. Few days later ,, St George High Lilian was getting pretty familiar with the environment she made a cool friend who was almost a make version of her not by appearance but by the way he thought and the things he loved to do and his way of speaking. Another thing Lilian started to enjoy was sitting next to the handsome boy who just came back from South Africa. Blessed is just the perfect guy I need right now we are both from South Africa we both speak the same language that no one else understands we both smell rich and look nice his just perfect she thought. " Hey so Blessed gave me this paper and he said I should give it to you " Delight said with a wide smile that made my cheeks hurt by just looking at him . " Me why would he give me a paper what's written on it ? Does he have a crush on me ? Does he feel the same way ? Is he confessing his feelings towards me ?" I asked my mind filling with excitement and curiosity. " You're asking too much let's just read it : Dear Lilian From the first time I saw you my heart skipped a beat your beauty is just so unforgettable your voice is music to my ears. You kept running through my mind and forgetting you kinda felt like a sin please give me a chance to love you and care for give me a chance to show what true love is my heart is aching for your love . Will you be my Girlfriend Lilian Ngosi ? " I was smiling so hard as Bliss read that for me and of course I was going to say yes but not straight to his face because Im really shy so I just told Bliss to do so . During break time Bliss was getting annoyed by my bragging I kept talking and talk about how Blessed and I will be perfect for each other. " My ears hurt from hearing that guy's name please stop that enough for one day the least you can do is thank me for helping you " Bliss said . Well honestly yes that was enough for a a day but his exaggerating I didn't say that much well maybe I did maybe I didn't who knows. I went home singing happily because this was a new beginning of something enjoyable and fun or so I thought.
