The Lost Mate

Chapter 6: The Old Pack

-Iris's Point Of View-

In the car ride it was quiet and long. Soul held my hand as I was shaking nervous. This has to be a trap. But why would my father want me to meet at him? This question kept tugging at me. My wolf was calm because our mate was with us. The weather wasn't harsh as we drove. I could tell we were getting close by the change in scenery. Seeing how late it was we made good time. Then my phone goes off. My sister Venus was texting me. 

"Iris dad want you to stay at the house with your Alpha, he told me to text you that since he didn't have your phone number." That's weird. My sister Venus wanted nothing to do with my father either but she listened to him because he is her Alpha of the pack still. I looked over at Soul who was on the phone to make reservations at a hotel.

"Soul, my sister Venus told me my father wants us to stay at the mansion. They had prepared a room for us." Soul glanced at me and sighs hanging up his phone as he makes a turn to head to the mansion. I could tell he was tense because his grip tightened around my hand but not enough to hurt me. Seeing the gates to the mansion appear in view. My heart stopped. I was back at a place that I couldn't call home even though I grew up here or in the stables in the back. Pulling up to the car, some maids took our bags and lead us to our room. It was so weird being a guest at the house that was my prison and where I worked as a maid. I couldn't see any of my sisters or my parents as we were taken to our rooms. I saw some guards standing at the doors of every room but ours. This room was one of the nice ones too. Not as big as ours back at the pack mansion but still one of the nice guest rooms. I stood in the center of the room looking around slowly my body shaking. I was back and I wasn't happy.

-Soul's Point Of View-

I kept my mate close as we were taken to our room, seeing how many guards there were had me worried a little. I had to make sure my mate was safe while we were here so that we can go back to our home. Seeing her frozen and feeling how sad and scared she was I pulled her to my arms as the doors to the bedroom were closed. My wolf was on high alert watching carefully as I comfort our mate. Her body was shaking badly in my arms I held her close and tighter. I know it was late. Too late for dinner actually. I was surprised that we were even let in. Feeling her lean against me my shirt was a little wet. She had cried herself asleep in my arms. Picking her up in bridal style I took her and put her in bed while I mind linked with my Beta.

"James is everything good at the pack?" I waited for a reply.

"Yes sir everything is good over here, all the warriors are on high alert I had the unmated females and mothers and pups taken to the safe place of our pack territory with a few of our warriors. When you left a few rouges showed that they are watching us and know that you are gone. Do you think this was planned?" I growled from hearing the news from James.

"It might be. I think I had brought Iris into a trap, but then again it could be a coincidence, but stay on high alert and hopefully we can be back at night fall tomorrow depending what her father wants." I looked over at my mate as she was sleeping I could feel her saddness and it worried if I did the right thing. Being an Alpha isn't the easiest but I have to make tough calls. Luckily I have a strong pack and Beta. Changing my clothes I get into bed with my mate to slowly fall asleep, but still hear if anything goes on.

 -Iris's Point Of View-

My dreams were turned into nightmares feeling that everything was falling apart that the life I had finally wanted was taken from me because my father hated me for I still don't know to this day. Ever since I was born my father hated me that he even marked me as the omega in the pack. My mother was still loving and caring to me as well as my two older sisters but when my mother took care of me my father would beat her. I told her to stop and that I will be fine. At first my two older sisters Venus and Mercury hated me as much as the other sisters. But once they had gotten older and didn't understand why they hated me and why everyone else. They turned to caring for me when they say my father beating my mother and I in front of them. They hated father ever since, he would never lay a hand on them though. They were mated to other males that were going to be Alphas to their pack and my father wanted to make sure they were on his side when in secret they never planned on joining a peace treaty with him. My sisters were still part of the pack because of some agreement they had made. I'm pretty sure it was because of me. My sisters wouldn't tell me but when father wanted something from them they made sure to do it. I could tell their mates hated my father since they were Alphas now and wanted the sisters to be fully involved in their pack but father wouldn't let them because of some tie. I knew father wanted my sisters to have mates but Mercury was hesistante until one mating season when she wasn't careful she gave father his first granddaughter, he has never met her though. And the same thing had happened to Venus. I was confused at first why they had the pups but now since I am with a mate I am pretty sure I will find out how hard it will be to try and not have a pup. My nightmares were slowly cut off by a door opening up and my mate holding on to me. Opening my eyes I saw a maid bring up food and a letter. My Alpha grabbed the letter before I could and he growled. Father must of said something he didn't like. 

"Your father wants to meet with you for lunch alone... He knows I am here with and is not happy... He demands to see you alone..." His tone was stern and angry. I sighed as I got up and started to eat. He hesistated but I know my father is a bastard but he wouldn't poison me he has never gone that far.

"Honey its fine. I know my father. He's not the kind of bastard to poison someone. He thinks poison isn't a good enough method of torturing someone." Soul looking at me in shock of how I would know. Well my father gave me a lesson of what his warriors will do to torture their prisoners and I was the example. 

After we ate breakfast I went to the bathroom to take a bath. The bathroom was a lot smaller then ours too. Soul didn't join me he wanted to watch out and make sure I was okay. I understand him being so protective but taking a bath together would be fine. I was in the bath for a few hours. When I heard a knock, a maid came in with an outfit that my father wanted me to wear. I was expecting it to be baggy but it wasn't. I could barely get in it. The fact that it was short and right and showed a lot of me. I felt like I was wearing a two piece swim suit. Soul as not happy to see me wearing this. I put a wob on knowing what my father is wanting I sighed.

"Soul it's fine.. My father is wanting to see my scars.. He won't be happy how I have lost all of them." I sighed. Soul grabbed me and held me growling. Then there was another knock on the door as a guard and a maid told me it is time to see my father. Soul was to come too but he was to stand outside of his office. Walking down the hall Soul held my hand not happy when I let go to go into my father's office where he was with his two strongest gaurds and all my sisters except for Venus and Mercury which I thought was weird. The doors slowly closed behind me as I looked over my shoulder looking into Soul's eyes until the doors cut us off. Looking at my father sitting at his desk in front of me snarling as he looked at me.

-Soul's Point Of View-

God this pisses me off. I pace outside the doors waiting to hear what is happening to me. I can't be with my mate and this is not giving me good vibes. I swear if I find a new scar on her I will kill that bastard.

-Iris's Point Of View-

"Take off that wobe you slut, I need to see those scars that show I still own you," snarled my father. I sighed as I slipped off my wobe and everyone gasped. Everyone forgot the figure I had but that I've grown since I left. My father growled loudly as he got up walked over to me and slapped me making me fall to the floor my cheek bleeding. He used his claws to slap me.

"Your scars are gone. You used your wolf form to heal. I told you that you are forbbiden to use that!" He growled at me. I glared at him which didn't make him happy. I stood up and he was able to strike me again until I grabbed his wrist. He saw my neck and that made him smirk which confused me he pulled his hand away and went back to his desk to sit down. The blood on my cheek ran down and started to drip on my chest.

"So you have mated with that alpha. I guess I can use you now like I do with your slut sisters Venus and Mercury." He chuckled evilly, my eyes widen as I knew they weren't here but the way he spoke of them surprised me. 

"Now little slut you will do as I tell you to do. Or. There will be a price to pay." I growled at him the sisters surprised I have grown a backbone and that did not make my father happy. 

"What did you do with Venus and Mercury!" I demanded. My father would just laugh propping his feet on his desk. "I have them in a special place, and you will be there too if you don't listen to me." My eyes widen where are my sisters, what happened to their mates.

"What do you want..." I growled. My father smirked. "I want you to bare me a pup, a male one at you will give to me" my eyes widen I have no idea why he would want a pup from me. "With this pup you will give to me and it must be a mate with one of my daughters, if not I will kill you and the pup." My heart started racing, was my sisters dead. Was that why Venus brought her pup to fathers when I was to be sold and why Mercury had a funeral for her pup that was a female. My body started to shake in anger. "What did you do with Venus and Mercury and their mates and pups." My father smirks showing his canines. "Mercury is sadly in one of my prisons. Her mate is also locked up. Venus is one of my prisons but the pup is with her mate being held." He growled frustrated. My eyes widen as I make a fist and grit my teeth. 

"If I promise to bare you a pup you will let them go right, you will not kill them until I give you a pup... A male one" My father had me in a trap. How twisted is my father. "Tsk tsk tsk. If I wait for you to have a pup then you must have three male pups one for each of you." I looked at him in shock, "that will take too long" "then you better get started and hope you have triplets." He was about to wave me off for me to leave but I spoke up, "why are you doing this to us and not the others.." The question I wanted for so long. He looked at me in anger, "because you are bastards that don't listen to me, your slut of a mother had your sisters and you with another male. I couldn't kill Venus and Mercury because she promised to bare me as many pups as I wanted, but once Venus and Mercury found out and saw me beating you and her, well I have to punish them to. Sadly, no males will mate with my daughters so I will have you give them mates and if you fail me well I have a bunch of rouges willing to do what it takes to please me and take revenge," he snickers my eyes widen as a shadow would come out of the corner. It was Damien he was in worse shape with scars all over his body and face, his eyes dead from color. He looked at me and smirked. "Jones let me have her if she won't bare you the pups and I can give you a lot of unmated females and pups for your daughter if things don't go as plan." I fall back aganist the door feeling my mate bang on the door ordering to know what is happening to me. I know he can feel my heart racing and my fear rising. Damien went back into the shadows as the doors were open and Soul caught me, seeing the tears mixing with the dry blood on me he growled snarling at my father, or should I say Jones.

-Soul's Point Of View-

I am going crazy I can feel the emotions of my mate as if they were my own then I could hear yelling. My cheek was hurting and I knew she was hurt that made my wolf and I pissed. Hearing her fall aganist the door I had to get in there. Banging on the door I barked. 

"OPEN THE DAMN DOOR WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY MATE!" The doors opened and my mate fell into my eyes her cheek and chest covered in blood growling at her father I picked her up in bridal style. 

"What did you do to my mate," I heard Iris in my head telling me that this male is not her father, that his name is Jones and that her sisters were in trouble.

Jones would stand up and open his arms, "I did nothing to her, I just told her what I need from her, now would you like to stay for dinner," his evil smile showed he was hiding something and that Iris will tell me later. I shook my head. "I believe it is time for us to leave." Jones would nod and put his hands behind his back. "Alright you may leave I wished you stay longer, but I understand being an alpha is a busy thing, oh and Iris dear don't forget what I told you." I gave no time for Iris to respond I ran out the room and grabbed out things throwing them in the car and gently placing Iris in the passenger seat noting giving her time to change but putting the robe on her. I take off heading back to our territory waiting for Iris to tell me what happened.

The drive will be a long one with all this silence. My wolf and I worry about our mate.
