Chapter 19: In Shock

-Iris's Point Of View-

I sit down in a chair next to Bryan's bed trying to wrap my head around that Damien is a rabid wolf. Completely speechless Bryan would look at me nodding. "I never thought I would see a rabid wolf. I always heard that they go rabid when they hit a part of being so insane their wolf takes over and they are just a wild animal." I looked at him still speechless. Has Damien seriously gone so far down that his wolf has taken over and he has become a rabid wolf. "Do you know what kind of virus a rabid wolf would have?" I finally got the question out of my mouth as he looked at me thinking for a second. Shaking his head at me, "I'm sorry Iris but I don't know what kind of virus he gave Soul, like I said this is the first I have seen a rabid wolf I have only heard of a few things." I stood up and grabbed his hand. "Thank you for telling me Bryan now get some rest, I'm pretty sure Venus is waiting to see you as soon as she can." Smiling softly he would nod and I left the room. 

Closing the door behind me I head to check up on Tyler and James. It was late at night so it would make sense for them to be asleep I poked my head into James's room and saw he was asleep with his mate Lory who was in bed with him that made me smile. Going to see Tyler he was awake sitting up watching Tv. Knocking on the side of the wall he looks at me and motioned me to come in. I sat in a chair next to his bed. "How are you feeling Tyler? You're making a good recovery it seems." He would nod, "yeah I still feel pain in the back of my head but the doctors said I should be ready to go back to training in a few days but they don't think I should join the front lines just yet." Looking at him all his bandages were off and left him with a bunch of scars. I don't know much about Tyler but from what I know he is a tough warrior. 

"Have you heard anything from my Alpha and the others?" I looked at him wondering if that is what that has been bothering him. Nodding my head, "yes I have heard back from them, but I don't know if you would like to know." He would grip his blanket making a fist and look at the Tv. "All I want to know if they are alive.." I could tell he wants to know more than that but I wasn't going to give him all the information if he doesn't want it. "Zack and Bryan are alive.. Soul on the other hand.. He is struggling right now.." I looked down at my hands trying to keep myself from crying. Tyler would put his hand on my shoulder not saying anything I looked at him into his eyes small tears were in his. He must know what is going on but doesn't want to share. We stayed like this in silence for a while until a nurse came in to give him his medicine that was my queue to leave. Saying goodbye to Tyler I left the room and went to head back to my hospital room. It has been too long and Sin must be hunger so I hurried back.

Getting back to my hospital room I saw my mother holding Sin while he was crying I quickly go over and start to feed him taking off my top putting on a hospital gown and feed him. He would growl happily as he fed. Smiling softly looking at him I wonder and hope that Soul will pull through this. Looking over at my mother, "Do you know where Venus and Mercury are?" She would nod, "they are in another room giving blood, something had happened and they need more blood for Soul, your sisters seem tired but they are still going maybe talk to them to slow down so something doesn't happen to them," I was great full that my sisters are doing this and I was worried about Soul, my wolf wanted them to not stop but my other side didn't want my sisters to over work themselves where they could end up not helping anymore. It may be selfish only thinking about Soul but he is my mate I can't live without him mostly since we have a pup now. I nod looking at my mother and made sure that when I'm done feeding Sin I will go check up on my sisters. 

After feeding him my mom showed me how to hold him and burp him while I finished feeding him on my other boob. It is a lot of work having a new pup then a nurse would walk in to see how I am doing. "Do you know where my sisters are?" The nurse nod, "yes Luna I can take you to them after you are done with your pup, also the doctor wanted me to tell you that you can be discharged now and go back to the mansion. Things are slowly calming down so it is safe for you to take your pup to go back to the mansion." I nod and put Sin in the crib as I would put on my sweatshirt and followed the nurse to the next floor where Venus and Mercury were at. Walking into the room I saw how pale they were and all the machines hooked up to them. I was in horror that this has gotten this far. Growling at looked at the nurse. "I demand to take them out of the machines you shouldn't be doing this to them," the nurse whimpered and nod as she went to taking the machines out of my sisters but kept the ones that were giving them their liquids, then a doctor came in. "Hey did I tell you to stop the machines we need all the blood we can get." Growling loud I turn around to look at the doctor who looked at me in shock, stepping back he bowed. "Luna I didn't think you would come see them." I growled louder, "doctor they are done giving blood for today they nee their rest. I can't believe you pushed my sisters this far to save my mate." The doctor looked at me in shock that I am putting my sisters before my mate, don't get my wrong I want my mate to be number one but not in this way. My sisters need to be doing this themselves and not afraid to say no or when to stop. "How far is Soul at right now?" The doctor looking at me wondering what he should say. I barked at him growling. "Answer me, did you need to take this much blood for Soul or is he at a stable condition now." The doctor took a gulp and stood up, "Alpha is out of surgery and is in stable condition, he is still critical though needing blood. We are rushing his healing since he is the Alpha and needs to be in 100% condition for this war." I growled and barked louder. "Did he order you to take this much blood from my sisters. Did they say yes letting you go this far." The doctor stood silent. "I am the Luna here I give the orders if Soul is fine let him heal at his time. I will be taking control now and you will not get anymore blood from my sisters unless I say so." The doctor looked at me a little pissed and I growled louder. He bowed again "yes Luna as you wish, Soul will be ready for visitors tomorrow afternoon." I nod and shooed him off as I rushed over to my sisters as they seem very weak and pale. It broke my heart that my own pack members would do this but I know they want to only help our Alpha. Holding Venus's hand she looks at me and smiles weakly. "Don't rush just heal okay." She nod and smile closing her eyes. I know she is not in critical condition but it worried me how bad of a condition she is in as well as Mercury. I walked over to her to see her asleep she was thin and pale as well touching her forehead she still had a good body temperture. I looked over at the nurse. "Make sure when they wake up that they eat. I want to know every 3 hours what condition they are in. DO NOT let the doctor do this again." She would nod and bow at me as she went back to work helping my sisters. My mother was at the door in shock and I sighed walking over and hugging her. "They will be okay mother they just had too much blood taken out of them. They will recover fine."  She would go over to them and sit holding Venus's hand. It really bothered me how this has happened and the fact that I am here. Shaking my head I go back to my hospital room to get Sin as I was too get ready to be discharge from the hospital. The maids at the mansion have been getting the nursery ready for Sin and I am excite to see what they have done.

Walking out of the hospital my mother staying behind with my sisters I was worried but she told me that a maid was bring her pup over so she can take care of him while watching over my sisters. I had her promise me that if anything were to happen she calls me on my phone not talk to a doctor or nurse. Heading back to the mansion all the warriors from all three packs are running around training and trying to get things in order. Tracy and Mike were the next in charge so they were getting with the others that are next in charge from the other packs. I wanted to say hi to Tracy and Mike but they seem very busy around a table looking at a map. I know that it will take time for Soul to heal and I need to take care of Sin but my wolf was tugging at me to take charge of this war I just don't know what to do. Taking Sin to the nursery it was beautiful, well decorated with the pack symbol and the soft grays and whites as there were stuff wolves all over the place. And I mean by stuffed animals not actual stuffed wolves that is just cruel. It was time to feed Sin again since he was getting fussy so I start to feed him. 

My wolf continues to tug at me to take charge of all this chaos but my mother part of me is also telling me I need to take care of Sin. I wish this all wasn't happening. It is a lot harder being a Luna with a new born pup and a war going on while your mate is in the hospital. I was to far into thought that Sin had bit my boob as he was finished and was waiting to be burped. Smirking looking at him and start to burp him. "You are too much like your father already," he would coo then let out a big belch which made me laugh then I would go back to feed him on the other boob. I need to talk to Tracy and Mike and see what is going on at least. I need to do something I am the Luna just because I just had a pup doesn't mean I can do my part on being a mother and being a Luna to this pack.

Finishing up with Sin I put him down to sleep and told a maid to watch for him and when he gets fussy to call me. I head down to the training fields to see Tracy and Mike where I last saw them. They looked at me surprised as I was in training uniform, they both bow. "Hey Tracy and Mike I want you both to tell me everything that is going on." They both looked at me surprised but I was dead serious.
