The next morning Hope woke up with a big smile on her face. She had never felt that much relieved after many years. She threw the duvet away and stretched. She looked on the bed It was her period what else could go wrong.
"Oh no! this can't happen. What am I going to do now? I should call Edith."she said nd moved out of the bed.
"Edith Edith"she shouted.
"Edith is not home stop shouting." Louis said and entered Hope's room.
"What is wrong"he said.
"Nothing" and moved towards the wall.
"Well i heard you were calling Edith. Now tell me what is wrong."he said. Hope remained quiet.
"Okay so you are not gonna answer. Than I know how to get answers" he said and threw his arms arms around her. He pulled her closer and closed his eyes. He was about to kiss her when she whispered " Periods!"
"Huh"he said.
"I got my period's and I don't have material."she said and pointed towards the bed.
"Right"he said and opened the Cupboard. He took something out of it and handed it to Hope.
"Here you go"he said and walked towards the door.
"Wait thank you"she said.
He smiled and left the room.
Louis came home late at night. He looked very worried and was drunk. Hope came to him and said, "oh God you look like a mess. What happened?"
"T..the company we made a business deal with was a fraud"he said and fell on the couch.
"Are you drunk"she said.
"N..no"he said.
"You suck at lying"she said and crossed her hands.
"Well you suck at everything"he said and got up.
"What!!!!"she said.
"Ever since you came to my life everything is going wrong. God what you have to do in love f**k!!!!!!"he said.
"Really I didn't asked you to kidnap me. If you have just not been a henpeck and have focused on your work nothing like this would have happen"she said.
"You know what get out of here"he said.
"Coward What else can you do"she said.
"Wanna know what can I do"he said and grabbed her hand. He dragged her towards the store room. It was very dark in there. He threw her in the store room and said, "You wanted to know what else can I do. So stay here all night. Mouse's and Lizards will accompany you to so enjoy."
"No wait please"she said.
"What"he said.
"Pl...please don't leave me here. It's dark in here."she said.
"I don't care" he said and walked towards the door. She ran and hugged him from behind. "Please please don't leave me here. I am sorry. Sorry please sorry. It's dark. Please I am scared of dark"she whimpered. Louis left the room as if none of her words touched her heart. He locked the room.
Hope fell on the ground. She pressed her palms on the ground and brawled. Since it was her first day of period she got period cramps.
"Ahhh "she cried and laid on the floor.
Louis went to his room. He was so grumpy that Hope's tears didn't melted his heart. He sat on the bed and thought-"She called me henpeck how dare she. It's good that I locked her. She will stay there for one night she will understand that who the boss really is.
"Oh God how can I be this ruthless. It was her first day of period. That is why she was being rude" he said and walked towards the store room. He opened the door and found Hope lying on the ground. He took her in his hands and headed towards her room. She laid her on the bed. He grasped the duvet and pulled it up to her.
"Mom..mom is it you"she murmured.
"Shhh!its me. It's okay everything is gonna be okay. I am sorry" he said and kissed her on the forehead.
