After one week Edith came back home. Louis was very happy to see her back.
"God I missed you so much Edith"he said.
"I missed you too. Where is Hope"she said.
"She is upstairs"he said and sat on the couch. His phone rang. It was call from his office. He had to go Los Angeles for 3 days. He told Edith about his meeting and asked other workers to pack his luggage. He left for Los Angeles.
Hope was sitting in her room reading a book that she found in the cupboard. Edith knocked on her door.
"May I come in" Edith said.
"Yes please"she said.
"Louis told me about your health. How are you feeling."she said.
" Does that even matters"she said.
"My poor child. I am sorry for all of this. If I knew that he was gonna do it I would have stopped him"she said.
"It's not your fault. It's my mistake" said Hope.
"No it's not. You don't have anything to do with any of this"Edith said and hugged her.
"Thank you for coming" she said.
"Here drink some coffee you will feel better. I have to go to the market. And Louis has left for Los Angeles. He won't be home for two days"she said and left.
(After three days)
Louis came home after 3 days. He was very tired so he went straight to his room to sleep and asked Edith not to disturb him. After 3 hours he woke up and came down stairs.
"Edith can you make me a cup of coffee. I am feeling dizzy"he said.
"Yes wait"she said and went into the kitchen. She came back with coffee after few minutes.
"Here you go" she said.
"Thanks"He said.
"Can I ask you something"she said.
"Yes"He said and took a mouthful of coffee.
"Why don't you let the girl go"she said.
"I can't. I am doing this for my love"he said.
"Love really do you even know what love is. If she really loved you she wouldn't have asked you to do such thing"she said.
"She asked me to do worst"he said.
"What!!! Are you really going to do it to a poor girl who doesn't even know why she is here. Promise me you will never hurt her. Promise me" she said.
"I promise"he said and turned on the tv. Hope was on the stairs listening everything. She rushed towards her room. She sat down and cried. Louis finished his coffee and went into Hope's room. Hope saw him coming. She stood up and said, "Don't come near me".
"What is wrong"he said and came nearer. Her hands were shaking. He came more closer to her and placed his hands over her shaking hands.
"Why are you crying"he said.
"I can't stay here anymore. I can't I wanna go back home. I miss Bob. Please let me go. I promise I will not tell anyone about you"she bawled.
"I am sorry I can't"he said.
"I can't live with you. I can't. I don't wanna live with anyone"she said. She pushed Louis and ran towards the balcony. She stood on the edge.
"Hope What are you doing. Have you got insane."he said.
"Please let me go. I don't wanna stay here"she cried.
"Shh you can go home. Just trust me."he said.
"No I can't "she said and tried to jump but at the right time Louis grabbed her hand and pulled her up. He threw her on the bed. He tied her arms.
"Stupid girl you would have killed your self "he said.
"Please I wanna go back home" she said.
"First tell me what happened"he said.
"I heard you. I listened everything you told to Edith" she said.
"God I am not going to do anything to you. If I wanted to do it why didn't I do it on the first day I brought you here"he said.
"I don't know. I just can't trust you anymore"she said.
"Trust me." He said.
"If you really want me to trust you than tell me who you are doing this for"she said.
"I can't"he said.
"See I can't trust you. You are still hiding her identity. I don't know what you are gonna do to when she tells you too"she said.
"She told me to kill you. I didn't. She doesn't know if you're still alive or not"he said and left the room.
Hope sobbed even more. She spent the whole night crying.
