Chapter Fifty-Two

We talked for a while and I learned more things about the society than I knew before. He told me they had several chapters in several cities and towns. That was to be expected for a society as big as that. “So the mansion I saw you in, is that like the headquarters of this town? Why is it empty now?” I asked. He paused for a while before continuing, “Yeah you could say that. It was the headquarters for a long time. Until the people of the town found out about it, that it belonged to the new order. It started as just rumors and suspicions, a couple of members got too bold and slipped up. When they saw it was exposed, they moved the headquarters of this town to another location”. If we knew where the new location was, it would surely have answers this location doesn't. “So where is the new location?” I asked. He shook his head, “I don't know. I had just joined when they packed up from the castle. They left me behind”. That would've gone a really long way, if he knew where it was. “Why did they leave you behind, if you were part of them why would they not tell you the new location?” I queried him
