Author's Pov "So what are you going to do?" Samuel asked, playing with the plumb toy on my desk. "I am not sure, but our father made it sound urgent. Besides, it's to my favor. The earlier we both get married, the better, Milos said, rubbing his forehead to ease the pain. "But... " Samuel started but got cut off with a wave of his hand. "Honestly, I don't care what the problem is." I told him, shrugging my shoulders. "But what if it affects you later? Think about this dude.. He expressed concern. I took a deep breath, looking at him. "It's got to do with family issues, and I seriously don't want to get involved." He said this before picking up his phone. "I am having dinner with the Harrison's today; I am going to check things out there before the wedding." He told his friend to ease his mind. "Before the what?" He exclaimed, his eyes wide open. "When is this wedding exactly?" "It's going to happen in the next two weeks or so." I said with finality in my voice, getting you from my seat. .... Milos stared at himself in the mirror, fixing the cufflinks in his right arm suit. He was lost deep in thought when a knock came on the dressing room door. "Hey." A gentle voice said, snapping him out of his thoughts as he quickly snapped his head towards the door, recognizing the voice. "Hey." He whispered, walking towards her. "Yeah, hey. I just came to check up on you before the wedding and also to let you know how grateful I am that you accepted this request.. She said she was smiling at him. He looked at her, getting lost in her beauty and the gentleness in her voice. He wanted to do nothing more at that moment than sweep her off her feet and take her to the altar. "It's alright." He managed to speak after a long pause. "Hey man, are you ready?" Samuel asked, joining them. He turned towards Bailey, smiling, before wrapping his hands around her. Milos watched with jealousy boiling inside of him as Samuel pecked her lips. He quickly cleared his throat, trying to stop his friend from getting handy with the girl his heart was still so much in love with. Samuel looked at his friend, rolling his eyes, with a chuckle escaping his lips. "Common dude, you are about to get married and experience all this." He said, looking at his fiance in his hands with a full-blown smile on his face, making Milos jealousy deepen. Here he was selling his soul for the survival of his empire; his best friend snuggled with the girl his heart had been beating for ever since, while he married her twin sister. "I will see you on the other side, man." Milos said, walking out of the dressing room. . . . Milos stood at the end of the altar, occasionally checking his wrist watch, wanting to get this over with sooner. "Smile, dude, stop being nervous." Samuel whispered into his ears, but he only rolled his eyes, still annoyed with what happened back in the dressing room. Not long after, the sound of bells, accompanied by some wedding music, played around the hall, and she steeped in, walking through the aisle in her white wedding ball. Milos stared down, pinching his palms, waiting for his bride to step on the altar. He quietly read out his vows, as she did the same, and not long after they were through, they made their way to the wedding reception. Milos stared around, bored, not caring, and wanting his own reception to be over as soon as possible. He was tired of the fake smiles and fake gratitude he threw at people, but most importantly, he was tired of seeing his best friend get all cozy with a girl that was supposed to be his. He matched the reception bar, not caring who was looking at him at the moment. He filled his bottle with as much wine as he could, hoping for the possibility that his mind might drift off while being sober. He looked up once again, regretting it immediately, as he watched them lock lips on the dance floor. His grip tightened on the glass cup in his hand. "Your mom was looking all over for you." Bella's said she was coming towards him with an arrogant look on her face. She had watched how he was acting throughout the service, like he was the only one being forced into a relationship. not to leave out the continuous stares he gave out to her sister. She was tired of answering questions as to why her now-wed husband was moody on their day. "Stay away." He ordered, turning to his drink. She rolled her eyes, making her way back into the crowd. He watched her away from her hips and nagged her in disgust. This was the difference between her and her sister Bailey. Baliey had everything he wanted in a woman, but God had just chosen to make him end up with a woman opposite to his choice. He would feel himself getting way too tipsy, and the last thing he could remember was the sweet voice of his angle, asking if he was alright. . . . The next morning... "What the hell!" A voice screamed, waking both naked people on the bed. Milos sat up, rubbing his eyes. He clenched his head slightly as the effects of the alcohol from last night kicked in. He felt the space next to him move, with a groan coming out of whoever was next to him, but would care less as he tired, tendering to his own pain. "Here was I looking for my husband throughout the night, but it just turns out he was fine. I am enjoying his sleep, although the night was f*****g my sister." Bella said it with venom dripping from her voice. Milos groaned as he tried to process the words before his eyes shut open, and he immediately stared at the lady next to him, his eyes getting wider as he realized what had happened. He just slept with his sister-in-law!
