Ivy POV My attentions ripped from Broc’s, I see Kon leap towards me, I close my eyes reacting without hesitation, I leap to meet his jaws.   Broc POV I’m too slow to reacted, for the first time everything in my life’s slows and I can’t move. Conrad’s wolf has control I can see from his blackened eyes, he leaps at Ivy and she throws herself into his open jaws..   Then she disappears, I blink Conrad stiffens and so do I. Then as quick as she disappeared, she reappears out of thin air… her wolf jaws opened and aimed for the back of Conrad’s neck, her two paws gripping his shoulder blades. “How did she..” I hiss, a momentary distraction was all she needed to catch us both of guard. “Argh..” Conrad cried out as her canines pierced his flesh. Ivy growl’s threateningly, Conrad struggles beneath her before his wolf finally submits to her, under the increasing pressure on his throat.       Ivy POV I did it. For the first time since the match with Jace, I teleported, my body felt wracked at the toll it took but I focused on Conrad underneath me, Kon’s black eyes straining to look around to me. My heart beat faster, Agni pounded against me, angry at Kon for his attack and me for retaliation. “Let him up! Don’t hurt him.” She hissed. I didn’t listen until he submit, I would stay here all day. “Submit Beta.” I growled into our mind-link, Kon tensed for a second and then slumped. “Yes, Alpha Queen.” He answered with a monotone voice, I could feel Conrad surfacing again and let go. Florain’s POV Standing in the door way behind Jace, Garrett and Broc. I felt weak, my betrayal suddenly a lot smaller then whatever had happened here. Jace’s wolf was a dark muddy black, Garrett’s a dark grey but it was the strange Alpha Broc, that had my attention. He was pure white with softest grey feet, his coat glittered like crystals in the sun, I’d never seen another wolf’s coat like it before…. Except Ivy. I seen the way they’d looked at each other for a split second when he’d first shifted, time stopped, a split second of realization hung between them. I wasn’t sure what it meant, but I felt something had just shifted between them and it would effect the future substantially.   Conrad POV Finally I managed to regain control from Kon, I’d never had him lose it like that, my gut twisted. I don’t know how Ivy got the upper hand, I’d lost sight of her a mere second, but I was glad, glad I hadn’t hurt her. I didn’t bother to try to get up, though Ivy had stepped away, she watched me with calm and satisfied eyes. I lay their wondering why again and again, I seemed to stuff things up, why I’d lied saying I’d had feelings for Natalie when she in fact disgusted me. My gaze flickered from the floor to the Alpha between Jace and Garrett, they too looked bewildered by the events that had just transpired, but Broc he looked at nothing but Ivy. Somewhere deep down, I wanted her to choose him, I felt our bond weaken slightly in the midst of Kon’s aggression, unable to regain control I’d had to watch… and I hated every second.   Ivy POV I stared at Conrad, he remained on the floor, like I still held him there. His eyes remained empty and vacant of emotion; except for a second when they’d flickered towards the Jace, Garrett and Broc in the doorway, they’d looked but didn’t linger long. My heart squeezed, he seemed to push me away again, I could feel it through the bond, he was closed off and sorrowful, I hadn’t expected Kon to surface and reacted so violently. I suspected this had never happened to Conrad before from his sulking reaction, he seemed upset and ashamed at his loss of control over his wolf. “Ivy..” Broc spoke through the mind-link, I swivelled round, and for the second time I took a deep breath in. He was magnificent; that first night I’d seen him, it had been dark and he’d been filthy, but now he was sparkling, his coat white almost translucent it took my breath away. The Fobidden King, such a wrongful name for a beautiful wolf. “Yes?” I replied. “I think we should all go get dressed and leave Conrad for a moment..” He sounds sad and knowing, so I nod. Broc must have spoken to Conrad, because he sniffs and nods in reply, then we all leave the room. Florain thinking ahead had fetched us all something to change into from Jace’s room. Though Jace dresses then runs to grab some of Conrad’s clothes for Broc as Jace’s were too small. Once we were all dress,  we headed downstairs to the lounge room Jace, then Florain, then Garrett, me and Broc brought up the rear. My heart beat with every step away from Conrad, I felt pained and confused, it felt like always, even though I rank above him now, we’d never be equals in his eyes or his wolfs. Broc POV I could smell the confusion and sorrow coming off Ivy so thick, you could cut through it. I didn’t know what had happened before finding what we walked in on, but I could tell it troubled her. I wanted to take the pain away, wrap her up in my arms like I had a few nights ago, but right now she needed space. She couldn’t show weakness now as a budding leader, but I so wanted to comfort her. “Hey Ivy.. I’m glad you’re ok.” I say into the mind-link. “So am I, thank you for the distraction, although I’ll admit I was.. Surprised..” She replies. “Surprised?” I ask. “Yeah that your wolf form was.. white and it’s coat like mine..” She says hesitantly. “Yeah so am I, I’ve never seen another wolf, not even my brother’s coat shimmered like ours..” I say before adding. “What do you think it means?” “I’m not sure…” Is all she replies.
