It is a beautiful morning in the city of New town, it was drizzling as against the weather forecast of the light sunny day... Honking, hooting from distance.

"Hey Serg!, could you please help deliver some document to Governor Nicolai Philips's office at 10"

"Chief, I got today's off, I'm taking Danny to watch the Rangers play at 12."

"I can only trust you with these documents"

"Copy that! Chief I will get dressed"

*It is 6:00 clock in the morning*

Shower running fades as man's voice singing in the background

"Office at 9!"

"Thanks, Serg!.." text pops up from Steve.

Dressed for work is a young handsome Officer, sergeant Ola Johnson.

"Babe!" he walks into the room close to his wife in bed.

"Wakie!! wakie!! sleepy head" kissed her on the forehead.

*Groan with a soft smile on the face*

"Hey, baby" voice fade could barely be audible.

"You are so gorgeous" with a look into his eyes.

*Groaned again as she gets out of bed and wraps herself around her husband*

"Love you, Baby," She said kissing him on the lips.

"Love you better baby" I guess I'm going to have to be late today, but with this, I don't care if I got suspended"

both fall on the bed and laughed, as she screamed!

Door opened!

"Are you guys not too old for this?" Danny said humorously

"Hey buddy, why don't you give me and your mom some privacy," said with a sharp voice.

"Hey baby!!!, come here" she opens her arm for Danny

"Next time you want to come inside moomi's room, you knock at the door and wait for mummy's instruction okay?"

"Dad!?, I thought you usually have the day off today?"

"There is a game by 12:00 o clock"

"Buddy I got called in this morning by Steve, there is an important document I need to submit" knelt in Danny's front and gave him a warm hug.

"I will be back before you know It, buddy"

"Where is Emily?" Ola asked?

"In her room, Sick" Danny with a sober face.

"Sick!, How!, what happens?" Rebecca murmured as she rushed out of the room.

in Emily's room

"He,y sweetheart" walking towards Emily in bed.

"Are you okay, why didn't you tell me?"

"Oh my God, your temperature is about 100 degrees."

"You're definitely going to see the doctor"

Ola walks into the room.

"Baby! Emily is running a temperature of about a hundred degrees and she couldn't even tell us!.. She is going to the hospital right now!" facing Ola frantically.

"Mom! I'm fine I just want to rest"

"No you are not, I need you to get up on your feet and follow me right away!" with a command in her voice as she walks out of the room.

"Hey sweetheart, just do as your mom says I got a couple of documents to deliver at the Governor's office by 10, I will be home soon... Daddy loves you"

"Okay Daddy, be careful out there, Love you too Dad"

"Hey buddy, take care of the ladies for me, alright?.. "Yeah take it!" " Danny gets a hi-five.

"Don't miss my game at 12"

"I won't!" He replied very sharp.

At the car.

"Honey you have to take it easy she is grown, okay she doesn't need to be yelled at, she's going to be fine."

"I'm just worried how I could possibly not be aware" with a sober voice.

"Don't worry she is going to be okay" opens the car door and step inside.

"Love yo,u baby, I will be home soon"

"Make sure she doesn't get yelled at again" with a smiling face.

"Love you too honey" walking back into the house.

"I have noticed this car across the street the second time this week about this time,... Could be a coincidence. Girl! Stop being too sensitive!" mutters silently and went back into the house.

At New town police department... About 3 hours from the phone call.

"There he is! the man of the hour, I thought you had the day off?"

"Hey man, What about the game at 12?"

"Buddy, you got a hair on your face"

"Was Becca on a trip... That doesn't look like her hair" Laughing loudly were officers sitting at the desk.

"Hey, Jeff! walk with me"

"Where is Chief?" walking down the hallway.

"He hasn't shown up this morning."

"Anyone called his phone yet?"

"Yeah, about 20 minutes ago... He wasn't answering"

"Probably had a rough day at the farm yesterday"

They stopped at the walkway close to the chief's Office

"Something doesn't feel right, we spoke over the phone this morning he sounded hale"

"I will go check him at the house," Sergeant Ola said curiously.

"Chief Steve's house is about 20 Minutes drive"

"Was he hung up in a traffic?"

"A police chief would not be absent from office at this hours"

"A lot of things doesn't sound write about this whole situation."

"I got called up as early as possible, he was hale while talking to me over the phone."

"Come on man! he is probably attending to an emergency" he mutters curiously as he drives to Steve's residence.

20Minutes later, At chief Steven's residence.

"Hello! the adopted son, you never had is here, hahaha"

"Chief!, "always on time the man of the hours" that sounds familiar? Hahaha" with a peal of big laughter all over his face.

"Chief! I don't have the whole of the day!!, Emily's temperature could boil a cup of water, Danny waiting to see if I would do the mistake of missing today's game... You See? fatherhood is draining, Hahaha" laughed hard again.

*With no sign of response, he became concerned and pulled out his service pistol, a SIP P320*

"Chief!!?" he slides the sitting room's door gently as he stepped into the house

"What the hell is going on?"

"Damn! that is blood!" He muttered to himself, he became more concerned about Steve's whereabouts.

"Steve! if you are in the house this is Sergeant Ola Johnson, badge number 2749... I need you to come outside Sir, I am going to get you to safety." Sgt Ola says with a loud and clear voice.

*Still no sign of Steve, He sneaks quietly into Steven's*

"Jesus Christ!..."

"Dispatch this is Sgt Ola, I'm on the east side of mont Zion Avenue at Chiii."

**erratic break in radio communication**

**Voice over the radio**

"Say again your last!"

"I say again, this is Sgt Ola Johnson, badge number 2749"

"I am east side of mont Zion avenue at chief Robert's house,"

" I see a lot of blood, looks like multiple gunshots, or probably blood from stab wounds, no signs of a body"

**Dispatch**

"Copy that serg! we will have men in that area join you. E.T.A 3Minutes."

"I see something els..."

"what the hell!!'",

"Is that Wilson's wallet!?, What the hell is it doing here?"

"Where the hell is Steve!?" he murmured with curiosity.

***Footsteps approaching in the lobby at the back entrance of the house***

"Dispatch! I have got about four footsteps approaching my direction, I need backup asap!"

"Hey baby, how is she holding up? I would not be able to make it to the soccer game today, we got a situation, Steve is missing. Honey, could you please explain to Danny that daddy is going to make it up to him as soon as he is done at work, Love you baby" Sgt Ola whispers silently as footsteps got closer to his position.

***Phone beeped as he finishes recording voice message***

"I feel like there is someone is Inside"

"Guys! Watch out! there is a Cop inside"

"Officer! come out, we won't hurt you. All you need to do is just step out of the house and we will let you go"

"Backup is on the way, drop your weapon now or you will be spending some time in prison for threatening an officer," he said with a strong loud voice.

"Go around through the back, He is in exposed there alone" Voice whisper to one of the men

"Officer we are not here to hurt you, we just want to take something of ours"

"You understand that? Sergeant Ola Johnson"

"We know your beautiful wife, Rebecca. Such a beauty"

"Your kids, Emily and Danny... Adorable little family"
