We finally made it back downstairs an hour later. Steven and Hannah were sitting in the lounge room having coffee together when we entered the room.
Steven raised his eyebrows as Link as he walked through the doorway but didn't say anything.
"Ready?" Link asked causally.
Steven handed his empty coffee mug to Hannah and stood up to follow Link out of the house. Link stopped.
"Slight change of plans, Tess is going to come to the warriors training sessions with me sometimes as she will be needed in the battle for her Golden Wolf talents. She will still come back to help you, Mum, as well." Link smiles and slides his fingers between mine. He was beaming with pride for me. My heart sung.
