Day 10
Rebecca's POV
Parting from Alex's family down in Savannah was tough. I had grown so attached to them in such a diminutive amount of time that it was as if it were my own family I was becoming separated from. I hated leaving behind Ariel the most. She became my new best friend. I told her to Skype me if she ever wants to chat and I'll pick up right away.
I'm glad Alex and I cleared the air about everything during our stay in Savannah. We've become that much closer since then; in more ways than one.
I took a day to think after he got down on one knee and proposed at Fay's house. His grandmother Ellis was a little down after I told her I needed a day away after the dinner to think. I said my goodbyes that night, because come early morning, they wouldn't be awake when I left.
